The second leg of the 2023 F1 season is well up and running, with the first event out of the way. Next up is this week’s Italian GP, and ahead of the three-day extravaganza, its organizers have revealed the trophies to be distributed at the end of the race. To say the least, the trophies have a peculiar shape and are nothing like the usual ones that are distributed at most of the other events.

Moreover, it has been made known that the peculiar shape of the trophies is meant to give an indication of the exhaust pipes that are used in F1 cars. It is an out-of-the-box idea, and while the awards have exhaust pipes-like shapes, the design is quite fresh and rarely seen at the pinnacle of motor racing.

Since the reveal of the trophies, several fans of the sport have been in utter shock seeing the peculiar designs, and they have taken up to Twitter to let their feelings known. It is not often that pipe-like trophies are decided upon as the rewards given to the top three finishers at an F1 Grand Prix.

Looking at the fans’ reactions, it is pretty clear that since seeing the trophies, they haven’t been able to hold themselves back from coming up with hilarious reactions. Moreover, some have even indirectly questioned the idea of having an exhaust pipe-like design for the 2023 Italian GP trophies.

Ferrari will be under a lot of pressure at the Italian GP

While the Italian GP trophies have been revealed, there is one team that is going to be under immense pressure at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza F1 circuit. The Italian GP is the home race of the Ferrari F1 team, and considering the pickle that they are in at the moment, the upcoming race is going to be very important for them.

The Tifosi will be in full support of Charles Leclerc and Co. and will expect a strong performance from them at the iconic Monza F1 circuit. However, it will not be easy for them as the SF-23 has proved quite unpredictable and hasn’t made a solid impression in most of the races that have taken place so far in the 2023 F1 season.

Fred Vasseur, the Ferrari Team Principal, will also be in the limelight during the three-day event, and most of the onus is going to be on him to deliver a potent car with which the lights of Leclerc and Sainz could look to spread their magic and hopefully, secure podium finishes for the team.
