The Rock’s potential return to WWE has always been linked to The Bloodline. It often gets dubbed the culmination of what has been an all-time storyline. However, Dwayne Johnson has yet to enter the fray. Despite numerous rumors and speculations, it doesn’t seem like The Great One will eventually return for this. There’s no rocket science involved; it’s all about what the Brahma Bull has become.

Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff discussed Rock’s potential involvement with The Bloodline. Stating realistic facts, Eric shot down such a fantasy. Pointing towards Dwayne’s larger-than-life stature in Hollywood, it doesn’t appear like he’s coming to wrestling ever again, said Bischoff. Moreover, the Hall of Famer highlighted the time Johnson has spent away from the ring.

Having watched this business from its grassroots, Eric said he knows what it takes to get one’s body back in shape to wrestle. The Hall of Famer said, “The Rock’s not coming back. He’s making $15 million a movie. When a performer or wrestler walks away from the business, that off time, it takes a long time to get your body into wrestling condition.”

The former WCW president carved his words to perfection. Apart from doing movies, The Rock is the joint owner of the XFL. And to his credit, reviving the jinxed league has always been the Great One’s priority. With so much on his plate, it becomes impossible for the Black Adam actor to pursue a return to WWE.

Moreover, it’s no longer in Rock’s hands. He’s got people around him who take extensive care of the Brahma Bull’s physical condition so that he never fails to keep up with his commitments.

Well, it’s obvious that The Rock’s got non-compete clauses in his movie contracts in order to prevent himself from getting injured. That said, it might be time for his wrestling fans to swallow the pill and accept the fact that it’s likely The Great One will never wrestle again.

However, that doesn’t mean he won’t be returning to WWE in non-wrestling roles. Even if it’s just an appearance, Dwayne needs to make his presence known in The Bloodline’s tale. No matter if that doesn’t lead to his match against Roman Reigns, The Rock just showing up would skyrocket the storyline’s magnitude.

The wrestler-turned-actor could act as a catalyst for other elements of the story. Rock has already credited his cousins for the brilliant work they’ve been doing for a long time now.
