The 19-year NBA veteran Chris Paul had put up an impressive performance for the fanbase of the Golden State Warriors. Paul came off the bench for the first time in his career and helped the Warriors defeat the Rockets. Paul backed up the two-time MVP Steph Curry and sent the Rockets to their third consecutive loss on Sunday evening.

The Golden State Warriors won against the Houston Rockets 106-95. Paul was benched following the season debut of the Warriors star Draymond Green as he had a left ankle sprain. Chris Paul was far from the player who led the Rockets during his time there against the Warriors in a 3-2 lead in the year 2018. However, the all-star player was a great help as a reserve on the bench.

Paul, in his appearance against the Houston Rockets, dropped eight points, including seven assists and five rebounds. Chris Paul had his first three-point shot as a Warriors player in the match. NBA fans caught on to Warriors star Steph Curry having a wholesome reaction to Paul’s first three-pointer as a Warrior.

Chris Paul, in his post-game interview, said:

It was different, but at the end of the day, it is basketball. For me, the warmup is different. A lot of it was, but once you get out there playing in the game, now it is hooping. It is cool to be on a team like this where you are just free-flowing. Everybody is playing and sharing the ball.

The Warriors still have room to improve. If they can find chemistry between the stars of the team, they can make a deep playoff run. They acquired CP3 in the hopes of winning another ring. Only time will tell if they can.
