Former World No. 13 Nick Kyrgios remains out of action owing to his injury and rehabilitation. He played only once in the 2023 season as the injury he suffered in Tokyo in 2022 kept him out. He made multiple comeback attempts but they haven’t been fruitful.

With some extra time on his hands, Kyrgios is trying his hand at talk shows and podcasts. Meanwhile, he has also started hosting a show, ‘Good Trouble with Nick Kyrgios’. He has hosted personalities like Gordon Ramsay, Jemele Hill, and Jay Shetty to name a few.

In the latest episode, he is seen in a heartful conversation with famous American actor Rainn Wilson. Wilson is best known for his iconic role of Dwight Schrute in the American adaption of the British TV show ‘The Office’. Kyrgios put out a small preview of the conversation between the duo.

The preview started with Wilson using expletives much to the amusement of Kyrgios. The video has bits of some of the best moments from the conversation. Wilson talked about the Australian’s habit of smashing rackets and involving himself in getting back at trolls.

Kyrgios commented on the difficulty of managing the on and off-camera personalities. As the two bantered, Wilson made a cheeky comment against Kyrgios. During their conversation, Wilson dragged Roger Federer‘s name to fire shots against the former Australian Open doubles winner.

Ah man, wish I was sitting here with Federer but I'll take what I can get
Said Wilson leaving Kyrgios speechless with a smile.

The episodes are available for free on YouTube on the channel of Hana Kuma. Naomi Osaka created the company and the official channel has the four-time singles Grand Slam title winner’s name as well.

Nick Kyrgios drops a comeback hint

As tennis fans await the return of Kyrgios to the courts for the entertainment he brings, his official comeback event remains uncertain. Nevertheless, he is practicing at his best to make a quick return.

He recently posted a montage with a text on his comeback. The video had some of his best and worst moments on the court as he embraced his personality fully. These included his racket smashes, some good shots, and digs at all his critics for constantly trying to pull him down all these years.

The 2024 Miami Masters will be the final hardcourt event for a while as the Tour will move towards the Golden Swing. Kyrgios has not liked the clay courts much and is unlikely to risk his return on the red soil which can risk another injury.

The best shot for him will be in the grass season where the surface will also suit his playing style. This will further help his confidence. But Kyrgios has always been one out of the box and might make decisions that will surprise all. No wonder he is called the Aussie mercurial.
