Martina Navratilova claims Donald Trump “needs some serious help” as he doesn’t speak a word for 16 minutes straight during his Michigan rally

Republican Presidential candidate for the 2024 elections, Donald Trump was once again attacked by tennis legend Martina Navratilova on social media. Navratilova, who is known for her dislike for the former president, took a jibe at the 78-year-old for a 16-minute no speaking at a rally in Michigan.

As Trump went to Michigan to address his supporters, he faced some problems and could not speak a word for 16 minutes straight. The Republican leader was just seen roaming around on the stage while the crowd in the background patiently waited.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign used video of the moment to push its message that Trump may not have the energy to be president again. Meanwhile, the Democrats supporters on social media also pushed the narrative and shared the video of Trump being speechless for 16 minutes.

Martina Navratilova, who is an ardent Democratic supporter also took the opportunity and criticized Trump. She claimed that he needed some serious help.

However, the 67-year-old supposedly missed out on the fact that Trump couldn’t speak because his microphone went out. It was the second time in a week that one of his events was interrupted. Earlier, Trump cut off a town hall and instead played music after multiple people in the audience needed medical attention.

Donald Trump jokes about microphone failure in Michigan

After waiting for close to 10 minutes, Donald Trump finally got his hands on a new microphone that he used to address his supporters. The Republican leader also joked about the mishap as he claimed that he wouldn’t pay the company that was responsible for the microphones.

Trump then joked that if he did that, there would be stories in the media about him not paying a contractor.

Trump then got back to the main agenda of his rally: tariffs on imported goods. The Republican presidential nominee told the crowd in Saginaw County Thursday (October 17) that he believes Michigan will be the “biggest beneficiary” of his much-debated plan to place tariffs on goods imported into the United States.
