Before making a name for himself for the Ohio State Buckeyes and winning the 2024 College Football Championship, Emeka Egbuka was born as the son of Henry Egbuka and Rhonda Ogilvie.

Ever since he was young, Egbuka excelled in football and baseball. He was the Washington Gatorade player of the year in 2019. The following season, when he was in his senior year, Egbuka recorded 83 catches for 1,607 yards and 25 touchdowns.

In his four years of college football, Emeka Egbuka recorded 205 receptions for 2868 yards and 24 touchdowns. He bagged receiving second-team All Big-Ten honors during his sophomore year.
