Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow continues to draw attention during the NFL offseason, this time courtside. On Sunday, the star signal-caller made an unexpected appearance at the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves Game 1 of the NBA Western Conference playoffs at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

While the focus should have remained on the court, Burrow’s arrival quickly became a talking point among fans. His fashion-forward appearance stood out in a sea of celebrity attendees, capturing the attention of photographers and sports media.

From tailored suits to abstract casual designer fits, the Bengals’ QB is also a romantic heartthrob. On Sunday, he chose to don a maroon Gucci jacket paired with white cargo pants. He layered the jacket with a high white T-shirt, and his hair looked naturally tousled into waves.

The attention intensified as Burrow was spotted leaving midway through the Timberwolves’ dominant performance. Minnesota led by double digits early, eventually sealing a 117-95 road win despite Luka Doncic’s 37-point effort. While the Lakers struggled, Burrow’s brief presence still dominated social media chatter, with fans speculating about his early exit.

The Los Angeles Lakers will play the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 at home on Tuesday night, looking to come back. In other results from Game 1, the Indianapolis Pacers, New York Knicks, Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers, Denver Nuggets, and the Oklahoma Thunder picked up a win.

Joe Burrow is making the most of the offseason

The Cincinnati Bengals are expected to start their next season preparation later this month and start OTAs by May. The season is termed as a do-or-die for Joe Burrow, who led them to a Super Bowl finale three years ago.

Ahead of the critical season of his career, the Bengals QB is letting himself loose for some time. At the beginning of the month, Joe Burrow hung out with the famous movie legend Al Pacino amid a Hollywood party. Burrow shared a picture of the two the next day after their random or planned linkup.

The random linkup with Al Pacino wasn’t what he was up to in the offseason. The NFL Comeback Player of the Year 2024 also appeared in a new commercial over the past weeks.

Burrow was featured in the latest BodyArmor “Choose Better” campaign. The commercial also featured Edmonton Oilers forward and fan favorite Connor McDavid. Sabrina Ionescu and CeeDee Lamb are also associated with the brand.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Joe Burrow opened up further about being thirsted over the internet, while discussing the campaign. He noted that he has great admiration for the fellow individuals in the commercial, and noted that he has had a good time meeting them as well.

I just find it interesting how the change has happened over the last couple years. It makes you feel good. It definitely doesn’t make me feel bad. So I don’t pay attention too much to it, but sometimes it’s nice.

Joe Burrow said

The commercial and the Hollywood party aren’t the whole of Burrow’s offseason. In the same interview, he also shared that he has been spending time listening to audiobooks and podcasts. He named Lex Friedman and Danny Kipping as some of the hosts he is currently tuned into. Burrow admitted that it has been mainly science and physics stuff that he has been focusing on.
