Everyone dreams of receiving a special gift from their better halves, and Travis Hunter is no exception. Hunter’s fiancee, Leanna Lenee, made his draft day special by gifting him an expensive Rolex watch.

A video was posted on Twitter hours before the draft in Green Bay. In it, Lenee, wearing a black dress, approaches Hunter with a green box. She held the box behind her back to keep it out of his vision.

Lenne handed the box to him and waited for him to open it. A perplexed and curious Hunter quickly opened the box to find a gold Rolex watch. He took it out to show it to everyone in the room.

It was a great gesture from Lenne right before the biggest day of her partner’s life. A moment he will remember for a long time. They have given each other gifts before, but draft day in an athlete’s life is special. Lenne made it even better.

Who is Leanna Lenne?

The young couple reportedly met each other when Travis Hunter was a senior at Collins High School. Leanna Lenne moved in and started living with Hunter during her senior year of high school. Lenne graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw University in 2022.

In October of the same year, the couple launched their YouTube channel. It’s a forum dedicated to documenting the best moments of their relationship. Two years later, in 2024, Hunter and Lenne announced their engagement.

Everyone thought they were the perfect young couple until December last year at the Heisman Trophy ceremony. Her body language didn’t sit well with Hunter’s fans when he received the best college football player award. Hunter later revealed that the media trial affected them badly.

Later, Lenne defended herself in an interview with E! News.

As soon as I saw Travis [Hunter] get up, then I thought it was appropriate to stand up, greet him, and congratulate him. But then, there was a camera right in front of Coach Prime, and I knew they were going to film that moment, and because of how people are online, I was like, ‘I don’t want to be in that shot,’ so I sat down’.

Hunter is projected as a top 3 pick in the draft. Peter Schrager and Daniel Jeremiah’s latest mock drafts linked the 21-year-old with the Cleveland Browns.

As per reports, Hunter worked out with Browns star defensive back Denzel Ward. The Pro Bowler recently revealed that Hunter reached out to him for a workout session.

Exceptional player. You’ve seen him on the field; he’s able to do it in college, so I would be excited to see him do it in the NFL as well. You’ve got to be open to seeing different things, and that would be different. It just takes one person to do it at an extremely high level… I’m rooting for him.

Hunter has the ambition of playing every snap in the NFL. He urged the league commissioner, Roger Goodell, to announce him as a CB and a wide receiver. “He better say wide receiver and DB.”

Hunter even threatened to step away from football if the team that drafts him doesn’t give him the chance to play both ways.

Jaguars draft Travis Hunter second overall

The Jacksonville Jaguars, who are interested in drafting Ashton Jeanty, shocked everyone on draft day. James Gladstone called the Browns general manager, Andrew Berry, to trade up to the second spot to draft Travis Hunter.

Berry and the Browns received: 2025 1st round 5th pick, 2025 second round 36th pick, 2025 4th round 126th pick, and 2026 1st round pick

Gladstone and the Jaguars received: 2025 first round second pick and drafted Travis Hunter, 2025 4th round 104th pick, and 2025 6th round 200th pick
