NASCAR drivers need to have amazing reflexes. A driver must react within milliseconds to avoid wrecks on-track. However, sometimes drivers get so used to the way they race, their behavior gets carried over to public roads when they drive with their family. This is the case with RCR star Kyle Busch. His wife, Samantha Busch revealed that her husband did rather odd things while driving on the road.

The couple appeared on comedian Bert Kreischer’s show Something’s Burning, the two had lighthearted conversations about various topics with Kreischer. With Kyle Busch even claiming that Formula 1 gave him ‘princess vibes’ compared to NASCAR. However, the topic that lit up Samantha Busch the most was of her husband’s driving.

The RCR driver was asked if he drove like he was still in a NASCAR race even on normal roads. Before he could reply, his wife quickly took over the conversation. She explained that Kyle Busch keeps changing lanes way too early in a bid to get to the destination quicker. So much so, that even when an exit is 3 miles away, Busch would quickly get the car into the carpool lane. Samantha Busch asserted that this was not something ‘normal’ people would do.

Yes! He’ll cross five lanes. It says 3 (miles) to our exit, and we are all the way in the carpool lane, and you’re like [swoosh gesture] — normal people don’t do that.

On the other hand, Kyle Busch simply grinned while his wife exposed his way of driving. The 32-year-old was visibly proud in the way he manages to save time even on normal roads, carrying forward his habits from NASCAR. Though, it seems that Samantha Busch is not entirely thrilled with this method of driving.

Busch’s 9-year-old son Brexton Busch has followed in the footsteps of the RCR driver in kickstarting his racing career at a young age. The 9-year-old is making a mark in dirt racing with some impressive performances. However, Samantha Busch revealed that the boy is already unafraid in the way he manages his car.

Usually, Brexton Busch’s team attaches a wing on his dirt car for more speed and downforce. Additionally, this wing is an important safety measure in case the car flips during a race. Samantha Busch revealed that her son actually didn’t want a wing on his car and wants to race without caring for this additional bodywork on his car.

Brexton Busch simply ignores the warning from her mother in this regard. Though, the 38-year-old acknowledged that the 9-year-old had the same racing reflexes as Kyle Busch.

Samantha Busch added.

Certainly, it seems that Samantha Busch often has a tough time managing her family who have a strong passion for the world of racing. However, Busch understands that husband and son are both incredibly talented. She has continued to support Kyle Busch throughout their time together and the two form one of the most loving couples in the field.
