The Briton had also recently launched a collaborative clothing collection with Dior. Now, the 40-year-old will have to prepare an outfit for the upcoming Met Gala in a few days. Fashion legend Anna Wintour shared a hilarious update about the 40-year-old’s outfit for the event.

Anna Wintour and Lewis Hamilton share a deep sense of love for the fashion world. Wintour has been a long-time Editor-in-Chief at Vogue, apart from being a global fashion icon. She has also publicly showcased her love and support towards Hamilton’s bold clothing choices, not only in the F1 paddock but also in other places. The duo has also been spotted together at multiple Met Galas in the past. This time around, the 40-year-old is set to be one of the co-chairs at the 2025 Met Gala.

The 2025 Met Gala is scheduled on 5th May, 2025, as Lewis Hamilton and Anna Wintour rush into final preparations of their respective outfits. Wintour was recently questioned about her thoughts on the co-chair’s outfit for the massive event, specifically Hamilton. The 75-year-old had a surprising but hilarious response to the question. She insisted that she had not seen the full and final outfit yet, despite the event being just three days away.

Wintour funnily revealed that Hamilton did not have a picture ready of the outfit that he would be wearing for the Met Gala event. The 75-year-old asserts that she does not believe the seven-time champion in the matter. Still, the Briton would have to show his final outfit to Wintour, as he is one of the co-chairs of the event. The media executive reckons that the outfit is still going to be great as the Formula 1 maestro is infamous for his clothing choices. Considering Hamilton’s history of stunning outfits, it is likely that the Briton planned his upcoming fit long ago.

Anna Wintour entrusts Lewis Hamilton’s outfit choice for the Met Gala

The co-chairs are more or less required to show their outfits to Anna Wintour before the grand reveal during the event. However, Lewis Hamilton has only described his outfit and not revealed the entire thing. Still, Wintour is not too concerned as Hamilton is one of the most fashionable people and is infamous for his jaw-dropping fits in such fashion events.

Wintour proclaims trust in Lewis Hamilton despite the latter not revealing his outfit to the former. The reason for this is that Hamilton has proven his superior choice in fashion time and again during various events. The 75-year-old added that the Briton was aware of what he was doing and did not doubt his choices for even a second.

Hamilton will have to focus on performances at the Miami GP for now. The Briton has put forth mediocre performances in his first five outings with Ferrari. As such, the 40-year-old hopes for a massive revival of performance in Formula 1, apart from excelling in Fashion. The seven-time champion has quite an eventful week planned for him ahead as he aims to manage all events with great care.
