The hottest or arguably the ‘most covered’ couple in media circles has officially tied the knot. After months of dating, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson has tied the knot with 73-year-old Bill Belichick, as per a report by The New York Times. The former Patriots HC, and now the brains behind the UNC football program, has consistently been in the news since it was revealed he was dating Hudson.

Note that there has been no official announcement by the couple, and that the article by Katherine Rosman is the only evidence hinting that they are engaged.

“And Ms.Hudson has told at least one person that she and Mr. Belichick are engaged to be married,”

The article stated, hinting that the couple is engaged.

If true, the news is a bit surprising because Jordon Hudson has turned Bill Belichick’s social media presence around overnight. Since their relationship gained public traction, her role has expanded to include handling Belichick’s media affiliations and assisting him in his role as the HC of UNC.

Rumors regarding their engagement first surfaced after Jordon Hudson was seen wearing a ring on her left finger when the couple was on a date at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. However, considering how outgoing the couple has been, and Hudson in particular, about their relationship, it is surprising to see that they have opted to keep their suspected engagement under wraps.

The couple’s relationship has shocked the football world by shock. Not because of the 48-year age gap between them, but because of the changes that Hudson has brought into Belichick. Her impact upon his life is undeniable, as in a few months, she has done more for the ‘Belichick Brand’ name to grow amongst media circles than his Super Bowl wins did. The report by The Athletic further expresses concerns regarding the advantage that Hudson has taken of Belichick’s personal brand.

The couple initially met in 2021 on a flight from Boston to Florida. Hudson and Belichick struck up a conversation before she asked him to autograph her Deductive Logic textbook. It was not until 2023 that their friendship turned into a romantic relationship. They kept their relationship private for a while; however, once they chose to make it public last year. Since then, despite getting trolled for the age gap, Hudson has not held back from responding to the trolls and comments on social media.

Hudson has made Belichick marketable. It began with the Super Bowl, where the duo featured in an advertisement together. She then began to manage several of his companies, and then came the email by Belichick to UNC officials directing them to include her on all emails relating to media and promotion of the team.

The Washington Post reported that Jordon Hudson has been named the manager of companies All BB Team LLC, Coach Show LLC, and Chapel Hill LLC, all with ties to Bill Belichick. The eight-time Super Bowl winner has featured Hudson in his recent book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from a Life in Football, and has referred to her as “his idea mill and creative muse.”

The aforementioned reports confirm the existence of a growing concern amongst fans. Bill Belichick, who is revered for his self-control and reluctance to allow anyone else to speak for him, has engineered a complete 180-degree change in his behavior.

Their relationship and Hudson’s involvement in UNC operations have given rise to questions about the potential impact of such an affiliation on the football program.
