Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers may be wondering why Aaron Rodgers hasn’t signed a contract with their team yet, but they can be assured that it might happen eventually. Rodgers may be taking his sweet time, but he has dropped occasional hints about his next NFL team.
Rodgers was at a Mike Stud concert where he sat down to answer some fan questions. A teenage girl stepped forward from the crowd with her question. She asked if Rodgers would ever consider playing for the Chicago Bears.
The question dropped like a napalm. People’s oohs and aahs can be heard in the background because the regulars know the history between Rodgers and the Bears.
The 41-year-old cracked a joke to cut the heightened tension in the air.
No [not Chicago], but I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago — for a road trip, I don’t know. I love Chicago, though, [I love them] way more than they love me. It’s been a great relationship.
Aaron Rodgers joked

While the crowd laughed, some understood the hidden meaning behind Rodgers’ statement, “I believe there’s a team that might play in Chicago.”
Steelers fans want Aaron Rodgers to refrain from continuously getting their hopes up
It’s no longer a secret that the Bears fans hold a massive grudge against Aaron Rodgers. They have good reasons. Rodgers tormented the Bears while starting for the Green Bay Packers in the late 2000s and the 2010s, racking up a 24-5 record against their NFC North rivals.

Rodgers loves to play with words, like he did on the Joe Rogan podcast. He throws double-meaning statements like it’s his day job. Everyone assumed the 4x Super Bowl winner was roasting the Bears, but he also hinted at his next NFL team.
Several teams are scheduled to face the Bears in Chicago in the new campaign. However, apart from the Steelers, not all of them are waiting to sign Rodgers. The AFC North franchise will face the Bears in week 12, but he still hasn’t confirmed his commitment, angering the Steelers fanbase.
Sick of the Rodgers shit, just start big Will. https://t.co/bc7In3YolA pic.twitter.com/lZBVyBsNwC

As a Green Bay resident, and Packers fan, good luck to whatever team takes him.

I just watched the Brett Favre doc this week, and somehow he still may not be the most insufferable prick of a QB that Green Bay had in the past 25 years @PatrickMoranTB https://t.co/nIGBAQ7xtI

However, not to burst the Steelers’ bubble, they aren’t the only team linked with Rodgers, scheduled to play the Bears in 2025. Both the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints have games against the Bears.
For what it's worth – the Saints also play the Bears on the road this year.

They can count the Vikings out because they have faith in second-year quarterback JJ McCarthy’s skills. Saints, on the other hand, need a quarterback after Derek Carr retired. Reports claimed that new head coach Kellen Moore is willing to take the risk of shuffling between Spencer Rattler and rookie Tyler Shough. However, anything can happen in the NFL.
