How Brexton Busch Has Unknowingly Forced Kyle Busch to Change His Racing Style?
RCR star Kyle Busch admitted that his son Brexton's career has changed the way he races in NASCAR.

NASCAR legend Kyle Busch‘s son Brexton Busch is making his way in junior racing categories. The young prodigy hopes to follow the footsteps of his father and make it big in the world of stock car racing. The 40-year-old is serving as the mentor his kid during the pivotal stage of his career. Recently Busch Sr. has admitted that his racing style has changed due to his son’s on-track endeavors.
At the age of 10, Brexton Busch has achieved considerable success in racing. The junior Busch certainly has his father’s genes when it comes to on-track battles. Moreover, Kyle Busch has drawn inspiration from Kyle Larson’s junior career while planning the path forward for his son.
As a mentor, Kyle Busch needs to ensure that his son is on the right track when it comes to racing. The RCR star highlighted that this role has improved his understanding when it comes to on-track activities.
Busch admitted that he cannot act as a hypocrite and give advice to his son that he doesn’t follow. As such, this has influenced the NASCAR veteran’s way of racing. With the 40-year-old only driving the way he wants Brexton to drive.
I think a lot of it, too, Brexton racing… I think Brexton racing and my messages that I’m trying to deliver to him, I’m now taking more sense in of understanding. Like, I can’t do something this way when I’m trying to teach him that way. So, I need to do that and that, so it makes more sense that I’m living by my word.

Brexton Busch indeed has learnt a lot from his father. The 10-year-old’s career has excited his entire family with even his uncle Kurt Busch keeping a keen eye on his racing.
Kyle Busch building something ‘special’ with new RCR deal
The NASCAR star joined Richard Childress Racing in 2023, leaving behind Joe Gibbs Racing. Kyle Busch has seemed rejuvenated during his time at RCR. Though, this year has been a bit difficult for the 40-year-old. Nevertheless, Busch intends to keep working with his team for the future and has signed another extension till 2026.

Kyle Busch reckoned that he was honored to race for an iconic team like RCR in the Cup Series. The former Cup Series champion labeled the team as his ‘home’ in the field. Moreover, Busch asserted that his journey with Childress was far from over as both parties continue to build something ‘special’ together in the sport.
It’s an honor to race for Richard Childress, our partners, and team Chevy fans. I feel like my family and I have found a home at RCR, and it means a lot that Richard continues to put his trust into me. My chapter at RCR is not yet complete, and I know we are building something special here.

Certainly, Kyle Busch and RCR form one of the biggest pairings in the Cup Series. Fans love to see Busch in colors of RCR, no matter the initial struggles of this season. However, Busch understands that he needs to bounce back quickly in the remainder of the season and pay back the trust his team has put in him to give another extension.
