Everyone loved watching Tom Brady throw clutch touchdowns during his NFL career, except those fans whose teams were on the receiving end. One of those fan bases is the Indianapolis Colts.

Brady’s New England Patriots weren’t part of the same division as the Colts. However, it was always a grand affair when the two teams met. It meant the crowd got to see Brady face off against Peyton Manning.

Manning and Brady played 15 times against each other, including in the 2003 AFC Championship game, the 2004 AFC Divisional Round game, the 2013 AFC Divisional Round game, and the 2014 AFC Championship game.

Despite the fierce nature of the tie, Brady won way more than Manning. The 47-year-old had a 11-6 record against the Hall of Fame Colts and Denver Broncos legend.

He didn’t forget to rub it in the Colts fans’ noses when he visited Indianapolis during the weekend to attend the Indy 500 race at the Oval. During the introduction, the crowd mercilessly booed the seven-time Super Bowl winner. However, Brady had the last laugh.

What an incredible experience at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend. Thanks to the FOX Sports family for putting on an incredible show, and to my friend, the best driver in the world and 7x champion Jimmie Johnson, for letting me tag along as we led out the pack. I’ll be back, and next time I’m driving!!! PS: It was great to get in one more successful drive in front of a bunch of Colts fans.

The Colts fans have another chance to see their team exact revenge on Tom Brady

Tom Brady has retired from playing football but is still involved with it. He signed a multi-million dollar contract with FOX Sports to cover NFL games. The former NFL MVP debuted as an announcer last year.

Brady also bought a small stake in the Las Vegas Raiders. It took a while for the owners of other franchises to approve his offer because of his affiliation with FOX Sports. This created a conflict of interest.

After becoming one of the owners of the AFC West club, Brady went to work on developing the Raiders. He hired retired Pete Carroll as the head coach and appointed former Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek as the new general manager of the franchise.

Brady reunited Carroll with his former Seahawks quarterback, Geno Smith, extended Maxx Crosby’s contract, and drafted college football’s most dynamic running back, Ashton Jeanty, sixth overall.

The Raiders are finally starting to look like they can challenge the loaded AFC. They kick off the new season against Brady’s Patriots in New England. In week five, they travel to Indiana to face the Colts.

In the Super Bowl era, the Raiders and Colts have faced each other 22 times. Both teams won 11 games each. Their last game was in 2023. The Colts won 23-20 on that occasion. Aidan O’Connell threw for 299 yards and 2 touchdowns, both to Davante Adams, who went 13 for 126 yards. As for the Colts, running back Jonathan Taylor rushed 21 times for 96 yards.
