“Together, We Can Conquer the World!” Daniel Suarez Breaks Silence on Political Drama Over Immigration in USA
Trackhouse Racing star driver Daniel Suarez has given his thoughts on the political issues regarding Latino community in the USA.

The NASCAR garage is at Mexico City this weekend for the first international race of the Next-Gen era and the whole racing community is excited about the mega weekend. The American Motorsports series event also caused discussion around the ICE raids and subsequent issues in the US concerning the Latino community. Trackhouse Racing’s Daniel Saurez has chimed in on the situation.
The most successful Mexican driver in NASCAR history, Daniel Saurez is part of the success stories regarding immigration of the Mexican community to the US. So, it was no surprise when the Chevy driver took the opportunity to share a message of solidarity while talking to the media at Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez.
He offers his support to the people that is suffering amidst the political tension in the USA and gave NASCAR as an example of how staying together is helping the sport to grow. Suarez asserted that having the most American sporting event, NASCAR, in Mexico shows together both countries can succeed significantly.
A lot of solidarity, a lot of support. I think what we’re experiencing today here in NASCAR is a great example. We are practically bringing the most American motorsports category to Mexico. If we work together, we can conquer the world.

He then shared his hopes of the communal harmony and communication issue getting solved in the states soon. The veteran then reminded USA that they became the “best country” on immigrants and it shouldn’t be forgotten. The veteran racer also revealed that if he win a race at the road course it will be dedicated to the community that is in distress at the moment.
Hopefully with peace, communication and harmony things can be solved soon. The United States is one of the best countries in the world. And it is a country that has been built with immigrants, we cannot forget that. A victory would definitely be dedicated to them.

Daniel Suarez asserts NASCAR needs more Latinos in the sport
In a separate media interaction Daniel Suarez also talk about the need to have a more diverse field in the NASCAR garage. He wants more racers from Mexico to feature in the Cup garage alongside him, alongside crew members from Mexico like he has at Trackhouse Racing. The veteran is hoping that the race weekend will inspire many Mexican youngsters to understand the opportunities NASCAR, alongside racing, offers.

I think that this is very important to continue to grow the diversity in the sport, and we need more people from Mexico. We need more Latinos in the sport. Not just drivers, everything across the board. Hopefully this race really opens the eyes for many young guys or girls that want to do something in NASCAR in the U.S.

The comments from Suarez are a feeling many in the community shares, as having more personals from the marginalized communities will open more doors for the sport to expand different market. It would be interesting to see how NASCAR and Suarez is going to inspire that change this week with the Cup race weekend.
