JoJo Offerman Pays Heartfelt Father’s Day Tribute to Late Partner Bray Wyatt

The former WWE wrestler, and most importantly a gem of a person by heart, Bray Wyatt, has received his Father's Day wish from JoJo Offerman.

It sure does hurt to be a mother-of-four without their father being present to live life to the fullest. Ask JoJo Offerman. On account of Father’s Day, the former WWE ring announcer took to her Instagram Stories, remembering the late WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt, or the real-life Windham Rotunda. Offerman expressed gratitude for everything he did for the family.

She posted pictures of her late partner holding their kids and wrote that she’s blessed that God gave her the former Wyatt Family leader as a father to their children. Offerman concluded her note by saying that the family misses him every day. For the unversed, The Eater of Worlds bid adieu to this universe in August 2023 when he unfortunately passed away due to a cardiac arrest.

This indigestible piece of news was shared by WWE CCO Triple H via X. Since Windham perished on Thursday, a day prior to WWE’s taping of SmackDown, the company held a tribute show around his legacy, in addition to Terry Funk, who’d also kicked the bucket back then. A customary ten-bell salute was held to kick things off.

Wyatt’s last-ever WWE match rival, LA Knight, was given the onus to deliver his thoughts of the deceased soul. The Megastar, all teary-eyed, said some gut-wrenching things in the most elegant of ways to do justice to the airtime he received, and, most importantly, Knight wrestled Finn Balor in the main event. Balor was Wyatt’s first opponent who went up against his incarnation of The Fiend at SummerSlam 2019.

The Wyatt Sicks celebrated Bray Wyatt’s 38th birthday in their return to WWE television

Bray Wyatt may not be there anymore physically, but the indelible mark he left upon the WWE Universe is perennial. The closest one would ever get to reliving him on WWE television is to see his younger brother, Taylor Rotunda, aka Bo Dallas, who’s currently leading The Wyatt Sicks faction. It’s an ode to Windham Rotunda.

The Wyatts recently made their return to WWE programming in late May after a six-month hiatus. They crashed an ongoing tag team championship match between The Street Profits and Fraxiom. Also at ringside were #DIY and The Motor City Machine Guns, and those teams also bore the brunt of Uncle Howdy and company.

After laying out everyone, the Wyatts’ leader, Howdy, blew out a candle on the cake for his late brother. It would’ve been The Eater of Worlds’ 38th birthday. Last Friday on SmackDown, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy ousted the MCMG to gain some momentum. It seems like WWE is setting the eerie faction up for some championship gold soon.

At one point, there were rumors of the Wyatts recruiting Alexa Bliss to their crew, but it hasn’t happened yet. Speaking of Bliss, she has said on record that getting to work with Windham was the favorite aspect of her professional wrestling career. She was paired with the former WWE Champion mostly during the Thunderdome Era when the shows were operating from behind closed doors.

Bray Wyatt’s father once revealed WWE’s gracious gesture for his family

In December 2023, a few months after his son’s tragic loss, Mike Rotunda, better known to the WWE Universe as IRS, disclosed what the company had started doing to support Bray Wyatt’s four kids. The WWE Hall of Famer told Wrasslin Talk that the Stamford-based promotion put Wyatt on a legends contract.

All the proceeds collected from his merchandise went straight to his family. WWE also launched something known as The Bray Wyatt Legacy Collection, where they’d sell collectibles and memorabilia to generate some more revenue for the Windham Rotunda household.

Wyatt’s dad, in the aforementioned conversation, thanked WWE’s more-than-gracious efforts. A number of wrestlers, still, to this day, occasionally pay tribute to their good friend in one way or another. It shows how beloved of a figure Windham was among his peers.
