The Local Children’s Mercy Hospital in Florida welcomed a special guest—none other than Taylor Swift. When one of the children asked Swift why she was in Florida, the Grammy winner said she was accompanying her ‘boyfriend,’ Travis Kelce.

On Friday, Swift surprised the staff, doctors, and patients of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital by visiting them. The 35-year-old ‘You Belong With Me’ singer looked elegant and beautiful in a teal dress with her hair loose.

Several videos from the visit surfaced on X. In one of those videos, a young boy asked Swift why she was in Florida. Swift did not seem flustered one bit. She quickly replied,

My boyfriend is training… here. So, I just thought, I come in and see how you were doing.

Swift took pictures with everyone and even signed a few ‘quick recovery’ cards.

Dr. Jill Whitehouse, who is the Chief of Surgery at the hospital, took a picture with Swift and later shared it on the internet.

Before her detour to the hospital, Swift stunned her fans by tagging along with beau Travis Kelce at match 4 of the Stanley Cup between the Panthers and Oilers. This was the first time Swift and Kelce attended any game together since the Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

The celebrity couple attending the Panthers vs. Oilers game received mixed reviews. Swifties loved seeing their idol again, holding hands and smiling like a regular couple.

Reporter Jackie Redmond called out the naysayers for snorting their noses to see Swift enjoying a game.

Redmond was a special guest during the recent segment of the Pat McAfee Show. Host Pat McAfee backed Redmond’s statement. The former NFL punter claimed Kelce has benefited by hanging around with Swift.

I think they [Travis and Taylor] continue to be great for each other, and if Kelce is all the way back, you immediately understand that the Chiefs are going to be exactly where the Chiefs have been.

Meanwhile, the three-time Super Bowl winner traveled to Cannes, France, with his brother, Jason Kelce, to participate in the Amazon Port Panel.

Between spending time with Swift and his trip overseas, Kelce has missed a chunk of the preseason OTAs. However, that’s not concerning news for the Chiefs because the All-Pro tight end is in excellent shape and has reportedly lost nearly 25 pounds.
