Ferrari is facing an extremely challenging time since the start of the 2025 season due to mediocre performances, despite Lewis Hamilton‘s arrival to Maranello. The team has fired all engines to fix the errors, but this still hasn’t helped in terms of results. Now, due to these struggles, rumors have begun to circulate about a massive leadership change at Maranello, potentially ousting Fred Vasseur. Upon this, Charles Leclerc reveals that the Scuderia’s plan of action remains unchanged despite the persistent rumors.

Lewis Hamilton joined Ferrari with high ambitions of contending for both championships with the Scuderia. However, ten races in, both Charles Leclerc and Hamilton have failed to even fight for a race win. Ferrari has still managed to keep Red Bull at bay and hold onto the third spot in the constructors’ championship. Maranello has accepted its shortcomings and is ready to work hard to improve their conditions, still people have started to lose hope in the Italian squad.

Even Charles Leclerc was rumored to be considering an exit from Ferrari soon. The 27-year-old has scrapped this idea and assured that the team remains unfazed in their approach towards the race weekends, regardless of the rumors. The Monegasque insisted that Maranello was aware of his position in the team and didn’t want to change that anytime soon. Leclerc pointed out that his team’s faith in him was something that he cared about the most of all.

The team really knows what my position is and what I want to do and that is what matters most to me.

Charles Leclerc said, as reported by Formulapassion

Still, Leclerc accepted that such rumors created a lot of uncertainty and distraction for the parties involved in the said rumors. The 27-year-old is confident that the Italian squad would not get distracted by these baseless claims and perform throughout the season as intended. The Italian squad still needs a miracle of an improvement and return to winning races in order to put an end to these claims once and for all.

Then of course, when there are rumors around, this can create a bit of distraction, but I don’t think we’ve been affected by it.

Leclerc debunked all the rumors and pointed out that they were just claims at the end of the day and not serious. As such, the 27-year-old would prefer to focus on his own work and improve the Scuderia’s working. The Monegasque reassured that his or the team’s goal was not to prove anyone’s point as right or wrong. The eight-time race winner emphasized that this is how Ferrari always operates, regardless of the rumors.

In the end they are just rumors and I would prefer to simply focus on our work. We are not here to prove that someone is wrong or something like that. This is how it works at Ferrari and it has always been like this.

Fred Vasseur has definitely worked hard at Ferrari and improved their condition significantly compared to the previous years. The Frenchman is ready to accept the problems and work on improving them as soon as possible. Leclerc and Hamilton have also given their all to see Maranello emerge victorious and achieve the long-lost glory in the pinnacle of motorsport.
