The Busch brother, Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch, are the most successful siblings in the NASCAR history. Both of them are Cup Series champions, with the former having tow Bill France Cups. They hold the record for the wingiest brothers, with 96 victory lanes combined in the elite division. They already have the next generation of their family ready to expand the legacy in Brexton Busch.

Kyle Busch’s son is one of the most successful racing prodigies in the junior division, with significant financial and sponsorship backing from his fathers’ teams, RCR and KBM. He also has the best mentors his father Kyle and uncle Kurt Busch, both of whom are serial winners and known for extracting more pace than the cars potential.

Recently in his appearance on the Amazon Prime Video during the Pocono Raceway weekend broadcast, with him being the grand marshal, was asked about his racing talks with brother Kyle Busch and his involvement in Brexton Busch’s racing career. He revealed that he helps his nephew to land sponsors and racing opportunities.

All the time. I mean, this past week, there was a Legends car opportunity for my nephew, his son, Brexton, to race in Northern California, when they’re out there at the Sonoma track. So, I was trying to help line that up for them.

Kurt Busch said via Amazon Prime Video.

Further talking about the point, Busch asserted that he helps with sponsorship deals and corporation and is determined to be involved in all the future events he will be part of, standing with him behind him. But he isn’t close to being as involved as Kyle Busch, who got everything under control at the moment.

You know, whether it’s decals or sponsorship, or even a corporation. If there’s a chance to help Brexton’s career move forward, those are things that I’m doing behind the scenes. But not all that much. I mean, Kyle’s got it under control.

Kurt Busch asserted.

While Brexton is on the rise, Kyle Busch is having an emotionally draining racing season

The 2025 season so far hasn’t been kind to Kyle Busch, who has scored just one top 5 finish in the 16 races so far. He hasn’t won an event since 2023 and doesn’t seem to come close to a win anytime soon. Talking about the poor streak, ex-RCR racer Jeff Burton recently highlighted how the veteran is single handedly fighting to make his No:8 team championship contenders.

Kyle Busch is trying to take RCR to the fight to Joe Gibbs Racing, take the fight to Penske, take the fight to Hendrick and it’s hard, it’s difficult and he’s doing it in a way that instead of fighting for a championship, at the moment he’s fighting to see if he can contend for a championship.

Jeff Burton said.

He pointed out that the back-to-back disappointments is emotionally draining for Kyle Busch and shows how brutal NASCAR is as a sport, where even the winningest racer in the sports’ history get hurts. The pressure at the moment is a little too much for Kyle Busch it seems.

That’s draining emotionally, that’s difficult. This is a brutal sport: this sport, you love it and at the same time it’ll rip your heart out… We’re watching Kyle Busch try to take RCR [and] try to take himself back to where they both have been and with the pressure of just making the playoffs.

Jeff Burton added.

But tough times makes great racers and Kyle Busch has the opportunity to get RCR back to their former glory and write a new legacy for him in a career that already seen Hall of Fame worthy run with JGR. It would be interesting to see how everything is going playout for the veteran in the coming race weeks.
