Justin Tucker’s problems keep getting worse. First, a number of women accused the All-Pro kicker of misbehaving with them during massage therapy. Second, the Baltimore Ravens cut him following a significant decline in form, and now the league has brought down the hammer by suspending Tucker for 10 weeks.

A lengthy verdict released by the league on Thursday explained Tucker’s sentence. The 35-year-old, a free agent, must serve a 10-week ban for violating the NFL’s Personal Conduct policy. On top of it, he will not receive any pay.

What the NFL conveyed here is that Justin Tucker cannot take any salary during the 10-week suspension period. He is free to join the practice and even attend team meetings. According to the statement, Tucker’s suspension will begin on August 26, which is the same day when teams are scheduled to announce their final 53-man rosters for the new season.

As many as 16 massage therapists outed Tucker’s wrongdoings during sessions from 2012 to 2016 in the Baltimore area. Some of Tucker’s acts include playing with his genitals, touching without consent, and leaving behind a white substance.

Despite Tucker’s agent and later on his attorney denying all the allegations, the Ravens cut the man who holds the record of scoring the longest field goal in NFL history.

Teams haven’t exactly been lining up to sign the Super Bowl winner, and the suspension will make it harder for him to find a new home.

We are disappointed with the NFL’s decision. Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud. He stands by his previous statements.

Teams still need a world-class and proven kicker. However, Tucker’s field goal success rate took a nosedive last year. He went from converting 86% of his chances to a below average 73% in 2024. So, the teams better think long and hard before bringing the veteran in.

Message therapists expressed their disappointment with the Justin Tucker verdict

Tucker’s image was run through the mud by angry fans on social media after the massage therapists came forward with the allegations. A demand for swift action circulated like wildfire. However, they were left with a big disappointment after the NFL announced its punishment for Tucker.

The Baltimore Banner interviewed one of the accusers shortly after the news became public knowledge. She told the Banner,

I don’t think it’s enough. He got 10 weeks, and we have to deal with this the rest of our lives.

She wanted Tucker to be the better man and apologize to them, which he obviously never did.

It would have been simple for Mr. Tucker many months ago to have apologized and acknowledged wrongdoing. Instead, Mr. Tucker insisted on falsely attacking the credibility of the victims and only further victimizing them.

an attorney representing the plaintiff stated

Tucker is in knee-deep with this one. He is on the wrong side of 30 and could potentially be forced to hang up his boots because of the suspension.

Nevertheless, the Texas native has made enough money to live comfortably for a while. During his 13 seasons in the NFL, Justin Tucker pocketed more than $51 million and is currently worth $25 million.
