RFK Racing veteran Brad Keselowski is having a poor run in 2025. The former Cup Series champion has been nowhere close to the front of the field, with five DNFs to his name. With just nine races left in the regular season, time is running out for the 41-year-old to make it to the Playoffs. However, NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick reckons that Keselowski will head to Victory Lane at Atlanta this weekend.
Brad Keselowski has failed to win a single race so far. The RFK Racing star sits in 30th place in the Cup Series standings, a far cry from his usual campaigns in the sport. Keselowski only has a single top 5 finish to his name. Nevertheless, with NASCAR’s controversial Playoff format, he can still make it to the business end of the season.
For the Atlanta race at EchoPark Speedway, Kevin Harvick did not put much time into thinking of the potential winner. The NASCAR legend simply said that he would bet that Brad Keselowski will emerge victorious this time around. Harvick insisted that Keselowski was aware of having two chances to clinch victory.
I’m gonna pick Brad Keselowski. I think he knows he’s got two chances.
Kevin Harvick said on Happy Hour podcast.
As per the Playoff rules, a driver just needs to win one race to secure their spot in the final 16. So far, only 11 drivers have won races this year. Thus, Brad Keselowski still has a shot in making it to the Playoffs, given that he manages to win one race.
Brad Keselowski opens up on ‘frustrating’ RFK Racing results
RFK Racing is struggling to become a dominant force this season. While the team has improved its results in recent weeks, with two consecutive weekends where all its drivers made it to the top 10, the team is yet to return to winning ways. This has only put extra pressure on Brad Keselowski, who co-owns the Cup team.

The former Cup Series champion was happy to see some strong results by the team in the past few weeks, but was still frustrated over a lack of wins. Brad Keselowski insisted that the team was on the right path, but they desperately needed to secure wins if they want to make it further this year.
We’ve had some really strong races where you don’t get the results, and it’s kind of frustrating, but we’re on a good path. We want wins.
Brad Keselowski said, as quoted by Speedway Digest
Nonetheless, Keselowski remained optimistic. The 41-year-old pointed out that while top 10s were decent showings, they cannot make it further without wins due to the Playoff format. The former Cup Series champion insisted that there were a lot of positives for RFK Racing considering its recent runs.
I’m very optimistic that we can turn that into something with the weeks we have in front of us, but until then it doesn’t matter. With the way this format is we don’t get any bonus for top 10s. It’s all about the wins, but it’s still not a bad problem to have. A lot of reasons for optimism.
Brad Keselowski explained
Certainly, Brad Keselowski and RFK Racing want to be in Victory Lane. A single good race can transform the season for the 41-year-old, perhaps this weekend in Atlanta. However, this will not be easy. Keselowski and RFK Racing will need to ensure that everything falls right in place in hopes of securing the race win.
