The NASCAR community is still isn’t over the tragic death of two times Cup Series champion Kyle Busch. He died at the age of 41, owing to severe sepsis after getting hospitalized for pneumonia. The passing marked an unfortunate end to a legacy that is marked with multiple championships and a combined 234 wins combined from all three national series.
Since his passing, many in the community has been praising him by sharing tributes and that list includes some of Busch’s most passionate haters. This didn’t sit well with the late legends ex-teammate Tony Stewart. Talking to Mighty Mack on YouTube, the ex-Cup champion admitted that he is pissed off about the hypocrisy.
I guess the biggest thing in this tragedy that’s happened that pisses me off the most is that now everybody wants to talk about how he was as a person. Outside of that, all they wanted to do is judge what they saw on TV.
Tony Stewart insisted via Mighty Mack on YouTube.

The ex-SHR driver admitted it is frustrating to see the people that once judged the ex-Joe Gibbs Racing driver by watching him on TV suddenly calling him a good person. They only saw the aggressive driver on the track, but didn’t see the caring family man the people close to Kyle Busch cherished.
It’s frustrating. That’s the way every one of us are judged by what they see on TV and then once you die, they want to talk about how good a person you were. That’s the part that pisses me off the most about it right now.
Tony Stewart added.
Further talking about the point, Tony Stewart pointed out that the haters should have showed their respect for the future hall of famer when he was alive, like the Rowdy Nation, and not after his death. He also highlighted how he was some of the lucky few who saw the good person in the star racer.
Should’ve given him a chance to learn him as a person before they judged him in the first place. So, right now, I don’t care about educating everybody about how Kyle Busch was. I know how Kyle Busch was.
Tony Stewart asserted.
Tony Stewart slams Kyle Busch haters who now acting like his admirers
In the same conversation later, the veteran Top Fuel racer branded the haters, who now turned sides, as A-holes and called them out for not accepting the racer in his peak years. He sees their tributes as nothing but pointless gestures.

The fact that they all want to learn now, they’re the a**holes for not taking the time to learn him and accept him for who he was back then. You want to wait until a guy dies and then care about who he was as a person is the part that pisses me off about everybody.
Tony Stewart added.
The comments from Tony Stewrat are on point, as Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently revealed how Busch was really frustrated with how he was getting the appreciation he deserved from the community when he was winning left and right. The sports fans should never hesitate to applaud greatness, even if they dislike the athletes that is performing on the high level.
