Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Mahomes’ son, Bronze, shared a sweet moment at Arrowhead Stadium this week while visiting the Kansas City Chiefs’ home venue. The 3-year-old instantly recognized Taylor Swift in a photo displayed inside the stadium as he joined his family to support Patrick Mahomes during the signing of his new contract with the Chiefs.
The heartwarming interaction was captured in an Instagram reel shared by the team on June 12. In the video, Bronze walked through a hallway with his siblings on the way to the room where his father was finalizing the deal.
As he passed a photograph of Swift performing at Arrowhead Stadium during her Eras Tour, Bronze quickly pointed at the image and exclaimed, “It’s Taylor.”
The reel also featured Patrick celebrating the milestone alongside his wife, Brittany, and their children, Sterling, Bronze, and Golden Raye. Reflecting on what it means to continue his career in Kansas City, the Chiefs quarterback spoke about the bond his family has built with the city.
“It means the world to me just because the city that Kansas City is and the people that it has, we’ve done a lot of great things here. But I think more than that, it’s just the community that we built,” Patrick said.
“To have my kids grow up here and around such great people. I’m glad I can extend (my contract) and hopefully finish my career here,” he added. The family later posed for photos together inside the stadium following the contract signing.

Bronze Mahomes’ recognition of Taylor Swift comes after the singer became a familiar figure around the Kansas City Chiefs through her relationship with tight end Travis Kelce.
Patrick Mahomes and Kelce have been teammates for years, while Brittany Mahomes and Swift have also developed a friendship. The couples have spent time together on several occasions and have been photographed at events and gatherings.
Ahead of Super Bowl LIX in February 2025, Patrick discussed his relationship with Swift and her presence at Chiefs games.
The ‘QB1’ said, “Taylor being at all the games has been awesome. I just know Taylor better now, and I feel like I’ve built a great friendship with her. And my wife and Taylor have built a friendship as well.”
Mahomes also spoke about the impact Swift has had on attracting new audiences to the NFL. “It’s been awesome to showcase her bringing light to the sport that I love and getting little girls like my daughter into it and watching the game. So it’s just cool to see how football can bring people together from every aspect of life.”
Swift has regularly attended Chiefs games since dating Kelce, becoming a prominent presence around the franchise and introducing new fans to the sport along the way.
