A courtside chair used by Taylor Swift during the New York Knicks’ Eastern Conference Finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers has sold at auction for $7,000.

The chair was among several pieces of memorabilia auctioned by the Cleveland Cavaliers in partnership with memorabilia company The Realest. Swift attended Game 3 of the series at Rocket Arena on May 23 alongside her fiancé, Travis Kelce, as the Knicks defeated the Cavaliers.

According to The Athletic, Swift’s chair attracted the highest winning bid of any celebrity-used seat featured in the auction. Kelce’s chair sold for $1,405.

Several other celebrity seats from the playoff series were also up for grabs. Timothée Chalamet’s Game 4 chair sold for $1,202, while Kylie Jenner’s seat fetched $1,505. Ben Stiller’s chair brought in $732, and Machine Gun Kelly’s seat sold for $635.

All of the chairs were authenticated through The Realest’s verification system. The company has previously auctioned unique sports memorabilia tied to NBA legend LeBron James, including the grip powder he famously uses during his pregame routine.

The Athletic noted that the auction listings did not identify Swift or Kelce by name. Instead, Swift was described as “one of the biggest music artists in the world and a 14-time Grammy Award winner,” while Kelce was listed as “a Kansas City Super Bowl champion and Cleveland Heights native.”

Despite the anonymous descriptions, bidders clearly knew whose seat they were bidding on, as Swift’s chair easily commanded the highest price of the auction.

Swift and Kelce attended the game during a visit to the tight end’s hometown area. Kelce, who grew up in Cleveland Heights, has long been a passionate supporter of Cleveland’s sports teams. The outing ultimately came during a disappointing postseason run for the Cavaliers, as the Knicks went on to sweep the series and advance to the NBA Finals.

Jalen Brunson dodges questions about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding venue

Questions about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding recently surfaced during an appearance by New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle.

Host Jenna Bush Hager asked Brunson whether Madison Square Garden would be a suitable venue for the couple’s wedding.

“Great venue,” Brunson said before changing the subject. “A lot of great things happen there, you know? When we’re down one and you miss a wide-open layup.”

Teammate Josh Hart laughed at the remark and continued the conversation. “I wanted to set up an epic last possession. We wanted to have that OG tip in. I was willing to sacrifice that layup so the OG could get the tip-in. I was trying to be a good teammate.”

Rumors linking Swift and Kelce to a possible Madison Square Garden wedding have circulated since the couple became engaged in August 2025. Neither has publicly confirmed any wedding venue.

Apart from this, Swift has attended multiple Knicks playoff games this year. She was courtside with Kelce during the Eastern Conference Finals in Cleveland and later attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden with Este and Alana Haim.

The Knicks completed their championship run on June 13, defeating the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals and securing the franchise’s first NBA championship in 53 years.
