After the New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA Championship, the entire world wondered how a parade would pan out, considering incidents with fans had crossed several lines.

In the past, the city’s passionate fans were criticized time and again for taking their fanaticism too far, especially when they came face-to-face with rival fans.

Some players from both sides, and analysts, condemned those ‘attacks.’ Despite that, there was no guarantee that something like this could be prevented.

In fact, fighting between Knicks fans wound up being a new problem for the NYPD. They had to use force and pepper spray to dispel such fights.

Other than that, news of property damage and attacks on rival fans left some worried about how the city would tackle the parade. Millions were rumored to arrive, and that led the city to commission 10,000 NYPD personnel throughout the length of the parade.

But then, some areas were not patrolled, and one of them, Times Square to be exact, left people scrambling for safety when gunshots were heard.

Coming back to the parade, the crowd of fans made it difficult for anyone else to pass through. But surprisingly, a video clip shows two delivery agents carrying Chick-fil-A bags over their heads as they made their way through the crowd.

Then, when it all seemed as if the crowd was under control, another video shows fans breaking through a barricade, even though NYPD officers tried to hold the fort.

A passed-out Knicks fan has bizarre reaction after reviving at parade

The clips of these incidents did go viral, which is why so many netizens reacted. But none of them was the most viewed. That achievement can only be claimed by one particular video of a fan who passed out during the Knicks’ championship-winning parade.

The video shows a group of Knicks fans on top of the World Trade Center subway station roof. In what was supposed to be a moment of appreciation for those fans working hard to revive that passed-out fan, it turned hilarious in an instant.

As soon as the said fan regained consciousness, he leaned forward, grabbed hold of the young woman who was helping him, and tried to kiss her.

Every time he did so, she turned her head away. After a few tries, she retaliates and asks him to hold it together. Eventually, the fan is taken away on a stretcher, and these good Samaritans disembark from the subway station rooftop.

This video, posted on two different pages, has crossed 27 million views combined and counting. Along with all the other channels reposting the clip, this has surpassed all videos, and even those of the Knicks players celebrating.
