Geno Smith returned to the New York Jets to have a fresh start. Then, on the eve of Father’s Day, a video began circulating on Instagram and Twitter displaying a heated argument between Smith and an unknown woman.

The roughly 85-second video features a text overlay that repeats “Today is the DAY! GENO SMITH beat my [expletive].” Viewers can see the name of the uploader @everythingkrisxo. The text continues:

He HATES taking care of his special needs kid and can’t be left alone with him because he’d rather watch [expletive] online and play Call of Duty.

The woman is also shouting at Smith vulgar words, accusing the 35-year-old of throwing her purse and stealing her car. Before the video cuts out, she is saying,

Been supportive of this DEMON and his narcissistic personality disorder ALL MY DAMN LIFE!!!!!!!

It’s a very disturbing video. The woman’s Instagram account is no longer traceable. But there are signs that the account did exist.

Is Geno Smith married?

Smith is very secretive about his romantic life. It’s well known that he has a son named Seven Santana Smith, born on July 19th, 2017, but the identity of his mother is unclear.

Some consider Haley Eastham the mother of Seven Santana. According to multiple reports, Smith met Eastham at his alma mater, West Virginia University. While Smith starred for the Mountaineers, Eastham earned a law degree. She is an accomplished lawyer. They supposedly got married in 2015, two years before Seven was born.

Geno Smith garners praise from Jets coach

After Justin Fields failed to live up to expectations, the Jets traded him to the Kansas City Chiefs. This opened up a slot at quarterback. Fortunately, they were quickly able to lock down free agent Geno Smith.

The Jets also appointed a new offensive coordinator around the same time. They brought in former Colts and Panthers head coach Frank Reich as their new offensive signal caller.

Per reports, Smith and Reich are settling in quite well. For Geno, it’s a trip down memory lane. He got the chance to taste NFL football thanks to the Big Apple franchise. Things didn’t turn out during his first stint, but he’s determined to repay his debt to the club. Reich is impressed by Smith’s mature attitude.

I have been around a lot of really smart and good quarterbacks. All I’m going to say is we’re in good shape. We’ve got a lot to prove, he’s got a lot to prove, I do, we all do. We understand that we understand what world we live in. But it’s been good so far.

Reich said (H/T Jets official website)

Smith started for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025. He played every game, posting a 2-15 record. He completed 67.4% of his passes for 3025 yards, threw 19 touchdowns, and conceded 17 interceptions (most in the league).

The Raiders reunited Smith with his former Seattle head coach, Pete Carroll. However, the poor results cost Carroll his job. Smith didn’t find a place in the plans of the new coaching regime. So, he decided to try his luck elsewhere, eventually leading him back to the Jets.

The Jets gave the Raiders a sixth-round draft pick in exchange for Smith and a seventh-round pick. Smith had an 11-18 record in his first run. He will definitely be eyeing to do better than that. But more importantly, the Jets’ goal is to end their long wait for a postseason appearance. Currently, the Jets have the longest postseason drought in America’s top four sporting leagues.
