Conversations surrounding LeBron James are currently focused on two teams: the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Philadelphia 76ers. The latter boosted its chances after landing Jaylen Brown in the blockbuster trade with the Boston Celtics.
Since then, not only has the franchise reached out to his agent Rich Paul, but even their top executive Bob Myers has openly swung a recruiting pitch in James’ direction.
Many believe that the organization now has the roster that could help the league’s all-time leading scorer win his fifth title and possibly sixth NBA championship.
There are some naysayers who claim that James would lose his standing in the GOAT race if he were to join the Sixers. They believe that playing alongside other superstars brings the criticism that he continuously forms super teams to get him his rings.
On the other hand, many people are of the opinion that the narrative might not be that similar if he were to join the Cleveland Cavaliers.
I’m hearing stuff in other cities too. I’m not gonna say who, but I had somebody on the phone with me today that I consider a good source who was swearing it’s a done deal in another city.

For a team that was clearly ahead of everyone else, this news might come as a shocker. If their prodigal son has indeed indicated that he will sign with another team in another city, that means there won’t be a homecoming farewell tour as many are expecting.
Draymond Green to join LeBron James at Cavs rumors untrue, claims analyst
Until this happens, a possible move back to Cleveland is likely still in place. In fact, there are some who have heard that LeBron James might be looking to recruit Draymond Green to join him at the Cavaliers.
The Warrior Superstar is also a free agent after declining his player option for this upcoming season. Even though he has given every indication that he wants to return to the Warriors, his close friendship with the former Lakers superstar has fueled these rumors.
I have not heard that from a credible source.
Brian Windhorst said
This possibly ends those stories, as Brian Windhorst usually speaks to a lot of sources before breaking any news about LeBron James. It also means that the chances are that Green will return to the Warriors.

Moreover, it also indicates that if LeBron James were to go back home to Cleveland, he would try to turn the Cavaliers’ fortunes around on his own.
Rich Paul reveals LeBron James is taking his time with his decision
While these rumors float around, many wonder whether LeBron James is any closer to making a decision on where he wants to play next.

There is none. I wish I knew. He’s taking his time. He’s really evaluating things, taking his time. I’ve really left him alone. Play golf, do the things you need to do. He understands where things are. When he gets ready, he’ll let me know.
Rich Paul revealed on the Game Over Podcast
This was his agent, Rich Paul, making it clear that the four-time league MVP is taking his time doing the things that he loves. Be it playing golf, spending time with his close friends, or even working with his endorsement partners, James is now in his alone time phase.
“There is none. I wish I knew. He’s taking his time. He’s really evaluating things taking his time. I’ve really left him alone. Play golf, do the things you need to do. He understands where things are. When he’s ready he’ll let me know.”

He does not want to talk about his future unless he is sure about what to do. Paul revealing that his No. 1 client is taking time to decide suggests that this drama might not end anytime soon.
