Brad Pitt and several stars connected to the critically acclaimed F1 movie reunited at the 2026 FIFA World Cup on July 10, as Spain booked its place in the tournament’s semifinals with a 2-1 win over Belgium at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

Pitt attended the quarterfinal alongside his partner, Ines de Ramon, while Spanish actors Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem were also in the suite for the match. The gathering brought together members of the F1 film circle and some of Spain’s biggest celebrity supporters as La Roja secured a dramatic victory through Mikel Merino’s 88th-minute winner.

The 62-year-old wore a United States jersey during the match, while de Ramon backed Spain by wearing the national team’s colors and sporting face paint. Cruz and Bardem, both longtime supporters of the Spanish national team, celebrated as Spain advanced to its first FIFA World Cup semifinal since winning the tournament in 2010.

The couple also made their relationship Instagram-official, with hairstylist Laurie Zanoletti sharing a series of sweet photos from their glamorous evening at the star-studded event on Monday. In the snaps, Brad Pitt looked sharp in a classic black suit and bow tie, while Ines de Ramon turned heads in an elegant, form-fitting lace gown.

Despite their relationship continuing to flourish after several years together, marriage does not appear to be in their immediate plans, with a source exclusively telling Page Six that the couple isn’t looking to tie the knot anytime soon.

The appearance marked another high-profile sporting outing for Pitt and de Ramon, who have been linked since 2022 and have regularly attended major sporting events together, including the 2024 British Grand Prix. Their latest public appearance came just days after they were photographed at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding celebrations.

Spain will now face France in the first World Cup semifinal on Tuesday, July 14, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The winner will move on to the World Cup final on Sunday, July 19.

After the victory, Spain star Lamine Yamal made it clear that his side would not be intimidated by Didier Deschamps’ team.

If France should fear anyone, it’s us. We have knocked them out (before). We have beat them two times. Honestly, I think we’re the two best teams at the World Cup, so we’ll see what happens, but we do not have any fear.

Lamine Yamal said to the reporters after Spain’s win over Belgium.

Spain coach Luis de la Fuente echoed that confidence while stressing the challenge awaiting his team.

The expectations are very, very high for the next game. We’re concentrated on this next game and very well aware of the potential of our opponent at the next game. But also, we are very clear that we are able to beat France. We have the quality, and it’s a semifinal again. We’ve had a semifinal against them. We were successful. The game will be very demanding. It’ll be energetic. We’ll need to have the best version of ourselves.

Yamal also addressed Spain’s performances during the tournament and the defensive approach taken by opponents. Spain’s semifinal against France will determine the first finalist of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with the winner advancing to the title match on July 19.
