While Randy Orton‘s WWE absence is getting to his fans, he’s staying in touch through social media. ‘The Viper’ recently reacted to Jacob Fatu making time for a wheelchair-bound girl named Holly, as seen below. ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ made the specially abled fan smile, and she couldn’t have asked for more.

As revealed by the girl’s parents, their daughter had made a special bracelet for Fatu, who can be seen wearing it in the photos. The former United States Champion, in return, handed over his NFL cap to Holly. She now has it on her bedroom shelf. The family have been such big fans of Jacob Fatu since his arrival in WWE. They described him as a genuinely kind person outside of being an incredible performer.

The parents said Fatu coming over to spend time with Holly multiple times during their stay will forever live with her, and they’ll never forget the kindness shown by the ‘Samoan Werewolf’. Moved by Fatu’s gesture, Randy Orton quoted a reply saying, “In the end, THIS is what it’s all about.” ‘The Apex Predator’ wouldn’t have had it any other way either.

Having had his share of temper issues as a new kid on the block, the St. Louis-born wrestling great is a completely changed individual at this stage of his career. Randy Orton had begun to appreciate the support of the fans even more since the moment he returned from a career-threatening back injury in November 2023.

Speaking of injuries, he was reported to have hurt his back once again at this year’s WrestleMania. Back in May, Dave Meltzer deemed it the reason behind Orton’s post-Mania absence. However, just shortly after it started getting blown off on social media, the 14-time world champion asked fans to let him enjoy his summer before he comes back to win his fifteenth world title.

Could Randy Orton screw up Cody Rhodes against CM Punk at SummerSlam?

After Randy Orton failed to beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at this year’s WrestleMania, the fans were pretty upset about it. However, as alluded to above, The Viper’s injury concerns have him sidelined at the moment, and it could be why WWE didn’t put the championship on him. At one point, he was penciled in to win the title, but that got changed.

The fans were hoping for Randy Orton to be back in time for SummerSlam. However, with the two-night event in Minnesota merely three weeks away, it doesn’t seem like Orton would show up in the meantime. However, there’s definitely a possibility of him returning directly at the Biggest Party of the Summer as the closing shot to the CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes match for the Undisputed WWE Title.

Punk and Rhodes agreed to have their long-awaited showdown this past Friday on SmackDown. They knew they’d been subconsciously avoiding it for quite some time, but it finally dawned upon them that they couldn’t run from each other anymore. It would be interesting to see who gets the upper hand in this feud come SummerSlam.

Punk is reported to go on a lengthy run with the belt, which would likely mean him retaining the championship against Rhodes. Whether it would be a clean finish or not remains to be seen. Will Randy Orton cost ‘The QB1’ to avenge his WrestleMania loss? Time will tell.
