4-time All-Star Kyle Tucker has been in a major offensive slump at the moment. His form has led to many urging the Los Angeles Dodgers to send him down to the minor leagues. In the midst of this, several Dodgers stars have come forward and showered support on the outfielder.

Tucker was one of the big free agent signings this year. In January, the Dodgers acquired him through a massive 4-year, $240 million deal.

However, he has been unable to live up to his high standards. In 120 games, he has just 11 home runs and 55 RBIs. The biggest concern among this is his form at home.

At Dodger Stadium, he has just 2 home runs and 17 RBIs in 60 games while batting with a .189 average. On the road, his batting average is .271 with 9 home runs and 38 RBIs.

In the recent homestand, he went 0-for-19. In the series finale against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday, he dropped a catch, leading to some fans booing him.

On Tuesday, he did break his hitless streak with an RBI double against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field. In their 6-4 win in extra innings on Wednesday, he collected two more hits.

In the recent On Base podcast, host Mookie Betts had Miguel Rojas as the guest. During this, the two Dodgers stars discussed Tucker’s form.

Rojas, who is seen as a clubhouse leader, opened up about his relationship with Tucker. The veteran revealed spending time with him on the plane, playing cards while trying to learn more about him.

I have all the confidence in Tucker, and I can see deeper in him because I’m really close to him. … I am a true believer that when you feel good, you play good. We want him to feel that the opinion that matters is the one that is in that locker room.

During this slump, Tucker was seen in an emotional state. After going 0-for-5 against the Rockies on Monday, he was seen fighting back tears in the dugout.

With 3 hits in his last 2 games, the Dodgers will be hoping he is able to keep this form up and turn things around. Following their sweep of the Rockies, the NL West leaders had a day off on Thursday.

Max Muncy claims Dodgers stars are there for Kyle Tucker amid struggling season

Muncy, who rejoined the Dodgers after the team picked up his $10 million club option, expressed that Tucker has gone through a lot since his move to Los Angeles. The third baseman then stated that his teammates had his back no matter how good or bad he played.

We have his back no matter what. And he’s part of this team. He’s part of this clubhouse. Nothing’s ever going to change that. No matter how good or bad someone plays, you’re part of this team.

Tucker is not the only big-name acquisition this season who has struggled. Relief pitcher Edwin Diaz has also had his ups and downs in his first season with the two-time defending champions.

After coming back from surgery, the former New York Mets star has found it difficult on the mound. He recently blew 3 saves while his ERA skyrocketed to 11.85 for the season.

Diaz is now on the injured list once again. He had some trouble with his neck and was placed on the 15-day injured list by the team on Tuesday.

The Dodgers will now take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at home. After that, they will be on a 6-game road trip and take on the Atlanta Braves and the Detroit Tigers. Once the postseason begins, they will hope to get the best out of Tucker and Diaz.
