LeBron James has finally made his much-awaited preseason debut for the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. After missing the first preseason game against the New York Knicks on Monday, James donned the 76ers jersey for the first time against the Brooklyn Nets ahead of his 24th NBA season.

Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, and VJ Edgecombe started alongside James. It was a solid first half for ‘King,’ who played most of the first half but did not play in the second half. In the end, the 76ers fell 114-108 to the Nets at the Barclays Center.

Although the game was played in Brooklyn, several James fans attended to watch him play. Before the tip-off, a young fan and his mother were seen receiving an autograph from the NBA icon. They reacted with pure joy and excitement, showing how much the moment meant to them.
