Fortnite is all set to collaborate with the popular artist J Balvin leading to another addition in the Icon Seris of the game’s collection: the Fortnite J Balvin Skin. Recently, it was leaked that he might arrive in Fortnite but now it’s been officially teased. J Balvin will most likely be inducted into Fortnite’s Icon Series skin collection to join Lebron James, Harry Kane, and other renowned personalities. J Balvin is one of the most influential artists in Colombia, who has also worked with various English-speaking artists such as Beyonce, Pharrell Williams, Cardi B, and most recently, Skrillex. He is a singer from Colombia and is one of the best-selling Latin music artists alongside having sales of more than 35 million records worldwide. A hype had already been formed surrounding this famous pop star when Hypex had earlier leaked his arrival in the game.

Soon after the leak on Twitter, Fortnite has confirmed that J Balvin is coming to Fortnite on 26 August and he’ll be getting the cup treatment as well. The skin has been confirmed to be joining Fortnite on Thursday, August 26th at 8 PM ET. As the artist will likely come with various cosmetic variants and other goodies, Balvin will probably cost around 2,400 V-Bucks (£15.99/$19.99).

While the gaming community has been much too excited about the skin itself, all his accompanying items have arrived in the Item Shop as well, and they’re as popular as the skin. Although Fortnite Season 7 has already supplied gamers with a number of surprises alongside, the community seems to be thrilled for more news and is delighted at the onset of these events.
