Jake Paul announces the signing of undefeated 18-year-old KO specialist to Most Valuable Promotions

Ashton Sylve- Jake Paul

Looks like Youtuber-cum-boxer Jake Paul is more excited to live his future as a boxing promoter than a boxer, at least from the way he is expanding his promotion. Paul, a professional boxer who’s undefeated with 4 knockout wins- 2 of them over former world champions in MMA- is the co-founder of the Most Valuable Promotions alongside his manager Nakisa Bidarian.

Both Paul and Bidarian have seen some success so far with their success in getting one of their fighters, women’s boxing great Amanda Serrano a main-event headlining match against another pound for pound great in Katie Taylor in the Madison Square Garden. The fight is going to be the first female headlining main event in MSG’s history with combat sports. As far as getting back inside the boxing ring is concerned, Paul likes to keep his fans guessing around all the possible names until a successful deal comes to fruition.

Paul has now added another boxer in the Most Valuable Promotions’ and this time, it’s one huge promising prospect for the future. Ashton Sylve, nicknamed “H2O”, fighting out of Long Beach, California, the United States, is just 18 years old right now and made his pro-boxing debut at the age of 16. So far, Sylve is 6-0 according to BoxRec with a 100% knockout rate.

Speaking for Sylve’s signing, Paul said “He is signed to Most-Valuable Promotions, which is awesome… Nakisa [Bidarian] and I have been watching Ashton for a while now and it’s just cool to finally make the announcement… This kid is going to make a massive splash in the boxing world and there are big plans for the future, so we’re excited.”

Paul says that he wanted to make an impact in boxing by doing two things- help female boxing grow as he is doing with Amanda Serrano, and then give a platform to young upcoming fighters as he is doing with Sylve. Do you think Paul is justifying his cause as promoter evidently? Who do you think should Paul face next and what are your expectations from Sylve as one of the most promising fighters?
