Tom Brady
Tom Brady is one of the biggest stars in the world of the NFL. Passing yards, completions, touchdown passes, or games started, the man has got numbers that seem too good to be true in almost all facets of the game. Not long ago, Tom Brady shocked the NFL world when he announced that he is retiring from the sport.
It felt like an era has ended. However, Brady shocked the world yet again when he decided to return to his favorite sport in a matter of weeks and is now all set to lead the Bucs in the coming season which isn’t very far away from commencing.

“I am very close to the end”: Tom Brady

Although the world is absolutely delighted over the fact that Tom is back, there is no doubt that he isn’t going to continue for an extended period of time. In a recent interaction with Ramin Setoodeh of Variety, Brady opened up about how long he is looking to stay active in the league and also reflected over the decision of unretiring after just 40 days of retirement.
He claimed that he is not really sure for how long he is going to keep playing. He might retire after this season or might go on to play more depending on how he feels physically. Talking about announcing his comeback after 40 days, he claimed, “I would have preferred to un-retire in July if I wanted to play.”

“However, I couldn’t. If I said I’m not playing, they’d make plans. So I felt there was a lot of pressure to make a decision quickly. And then ultimately, I just decided, ‘Yes, let’s do it.’ And once I said that, it was like OK, here we go,” he claimed. When asked if we’ll see him playing for two ore three years, Tom stated, “Obviously, there’s a chance. But I’m very close to the end.”
The GOAT also reflected on how his eating habits will be after he finally decides to retire. “You’ve got to see the process of food being grown. Just because it’s in a grocery store doesn’t mean it’s food. My view of food is, like, I need things that are going to give my body what it needs. Does that make sense? I don’t want calories,” he said.
He went on to add that because he has followed a healthy regime and maintained safe distance from unhealthy food habits, he is still fit and ready to play football, even at 44. “In my view, that food would have never allowed me to play football until I’m 44.“
