“SHOCKING”: Deion Sanders doesn’t believe Pro Football Hall of Fame is the “Hall of Fame” anymore

Deion Sanders
Deion Sanders is one of the most iconic football players of all time and when he walked away he left behind a legacy that paved the way for him to any footballer’s ultimate life goal a spot in Pro Football Hall of Fame, Canton, Ohio among the greatest to have ever played the game. Sanders is no doubt someone who changed the game of football that’s what some believe is a standard for someone to have a place in the Hall of Fame.
Football’s highest honor isn’t that special anymore and Sander believes that getting in to the Hall of Fame is too easy now and he expressed his frustration at the people who vote to decide who deserves a spot in the famed Hall. Sanders, now a Coach at Jackson State, in a rant expressed him desire to be differentiated from others who he doesn’t believe have made an impact quite like him.
“My head don’t belong with some of these other heads”: Deion Sanders

Primetime said-“The Hall of Fame ain’t the Hall of Fame no more. I love it, I respect it, I admire it. I think all the guys who are inducted are definitely deserving, but it needs to be a different color jacket. My jacket’s gotta be a different color.”
Sanders continued-“It needs to be a starting 11, it needs to be an upper room. My head don’t belong with some of these other heads that’s in the Hall of Fame. What do they call them? Busts. Well, I call them heads … Put my head where my head is supposed to be. My head isn’t supposed to be by them.”
Sanders believes you need to be game changer to deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame, GAME CHANGER. Not someone who had a few good years and didn’t impact the game when we look at the bigger picture.
“That’s what the Hall of Fame is, a game-changer. Not ‘I played good, I had a good little run. I gave you three or four good years.” Sanders is considered one of the best corners to have ever played and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in 2011, his 1st year of eligibility also said, “Once upon a time, a Hall of Famer was a player who changed the darn game. That’s not a Hall of Famer anymore. Every Tom, Dick and Harry, you’re a Hall of Famer, you’re a Hall of Famer, you’re a Hall of Famer. They let everybody in this thing. It’s not exclusive anymore. And I don’t like it.“
The hall of fame has been under some scrutiny for some time many Hall of Famers and media members have commented on it but nobody has been as direct as Sanders although even Sanders didn’t take any names. He also said many other Hall of Famers feel the same way. Deion Sanders’ girlfriend is Tracey Edmonds and the legendary coach has been married twice.
