The prestigious tournament is taking place in the country of Qatar. The opening ceremony takes place on the 20th of November. Qatar will host the final at the Lusail stadium on the 18th of December, 2022.

The one-month-long competition will be played in eight different stadiums across the country. The first and only match on the opening day will be played between the host team Qatar and Ecuador from Group A.
