“Golf? You F**king Paki” Premium Golfers force-fully let South Asian man know about sport predominantly being ‘WHITE’ with explicit RACIST remarks

Golf racist incident
The Golf world witnessed a dejected and eye-opening situation when an incident directed at a South Asian man at a Georgetown golf course was caught on video. Brampton resident Gursher Dhillon, who was a paying member was scared to death while playing his golf shot and left speechless by the racial attack.
“The son mentioned to me: ‘you better hit a good shot’,” says Georgetown course member Dhillon. “Luckily, I hit a good shot and after I hit this good shot I [said] to my friend ‘was that good enough’ and as I said that, the father got out of the cart … he said he was going to shove that golf club right up my a**.”
“I just wanted to bring awareness, to fight against racism, because we all think it’s over. We all think it’s not there,” added Dhillon who felt terrified as an older man is seen in the footage slurring out all sorts of racial remarks.
Golf- Will such small-town demeaning mentality ever change?

The man playing and slurring out racial comments was identified as Michael Warrington, the chief financial officer at Terra Cotta Financial Group. The press reached out to him when his identity was revealed, he said, “I am terribly sorry for what I said. It was wrong. Despite what happened leading up to it, it was wrong and for that I make no excuse.
“First and foremost, to the people whom I said it, I apologize. To my family who have been threatened as a result of this, I apologize. And most importantly, to all marginalized communities, I apologize. I know what I said was wrong and I promise to do better.”
The Racist tirade caught on video would scare anyone, huge appreciation was directed towards member Dhillon to let the world see the different kind of nature men have. The course is run by ClubLink which posted a statement to social media confirming the incident. “The incident which occurred yesterday unquestionably runs counter to our values as an Golf organization,”
