Aaron Rodgers credited his wife as the catalyst behind his reconciliation with his family. Although there’s very little known about the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback’s better half, it’s clear that Rodgers has deep respect and love for her.

Rodgers has dated a couple of famous names during his long NFL tenure. He got involved with actor Olivia Munn in the early 2010s. The Super Bowl winner also had a relationship with NASCAR legend Danica Patrick. However, Rodgers did not settle down with either of them.

In late 2024, Rodgers shocked the football world by revealing to be dating a woman named “Brittani.” Two years later, Rodgers has credited his wife Brittani with helping him reconnect with his family.

I’ve got to give my wife [Brittani] a lot of credit for—[It’s] not that she was pushing me, because she never was, but just the way that she loves and supports me, having her by my side during this process has been really special. And I missed those relationships. And there [was] reasons for it that don’t need to be talked about, but I’m thankful that that’s come all the way back around.

Aaron Rodgers began distancing from his family members because they did not approve of him dating Munn. His younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, participated in The Bachelorette (reality show) and disclosed that his family keeps two empty chairs at the dinner table for Aaron and Olivia after he stopped communicating with them.

Rodgers was livid. He cut all ties with his parents and his brothers (Luke and Jordan). Ian O’Connor’s 2024 biography of Rodgers made abundantly clear that Rodgers has a habit of putting people on “the island.”

However, the ice between them began to melt when Aaron’s father, Ed Rodgers, attended the American Century Golf tournament, where O’Connor documented that Ed shared an emotional moment with his son.

Last month, Rodgers uploaded photos with his parents. The pictures also featured his older brother Luke, his wife, and their daughter.

Those pictures are from Nashville. My parents, my brother [Luke], his sweet wife, and their incredible two kids. I got to be an uncle. It’s just really — it’s really special.

Rodgers revealed

Interestingly, Jordan Rodgers wasn’t part of the entourage.

Rodgers first spoke about Brittani on the Pat McAfee Show. A few months later, cameras caught him wearing a wedding band on his ring finger. During his first practice session with the Steelers in 2025, Rodgers announced that he had gotten married to Brittani.

Four days have passed since Rodgers resumed training with wide receivers DK Metcalf, Michael Pittman Jr., Roman Wilson and Germie Bernard. Wilson has been in the news more as it’s a make-or-break year for him, but Metcalf is slowly taking his place as WR1.

Aaron Rodgers capped an impressive two-minute drive with a TD to DK Metcalf, dropping the ball into tight coverage in the back of the end zone over Daylen Everette. Rodgers also found Metcalf on back-to-back hitch routes to set up the score.

Steelers beat writer Christopher Carter observed at the camp

The Steelers traded for Metcalf from the Seahawks in exchange for a second-round draft pick. Metcalf signed a five-year, $150 million extension. A short while later, they signed Rodgers to a one-year deal.

With George Pickens no longer in the building, Metcalf assumed the mantle of WR1. Metcalf finished his first season with 59 receptions for 850 yards and scored 6 touchdowns. Rodgers had 327 completions for 3322 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.

The Steelers won the AFC North but were knocked out in the wildcard round by the Texans. The Steelers re-signed Rodgers for what is reportedly the final season of his NFL career.
