“Don’t buy it” – Aaron Rodgers having absolutely no involvement in Robert Saleh’s firing doesn’t sit well with fans
Aaron Rodgers and Robert Saleh always had an uneasy relationship ever since the Super Bowl champion joined the New York Jets.

Robert Saleh had to be ushered out of the premises by the New York Jets’ security on Tuesday. A rather forceful move that stopped him from bidding goodbye to his now former players and staff.
With more such news coming out of their camp, the spotlight has fallen on superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers. If anything, it points fingers at a possible power play.
Jordan Schultz, as with all NFL Insiders was working hard to get his hands on some more information. He wrote this on his official X account after speaking with his New York Jets sources;
It seems, the four-time league MVP did not have any knowledge about Robert Saleh‘s firing. Rather, it was owner Woody Johnson who made the decision on his own.
Sources: #Jets QB Aaron Rodgers was "blindsided" by the news today that HC Robert Saleh was fired. He came into the facility today with no knowledge the firing was about to happen, but sources say he did meet with ownership after the fact.

But some questions have come up once news started trickling in. For instance, it was no secret that Aaron Rodgers and his now-former head coach weren’t buddies. There was no visible altercation between them, but anyone with an eye for details would know that their relationship was uneasy.
Ever since Nathaniel Hackett was hired, it was all the more evident that it was Rodgers who had the power in his hands. Saleh even could not do much as his quarterback missed mandatory training camp. Had the 40-year-old worked out with his teammates, they could have ironed out their offensive issues.
Fans pointing fingers at Aaron Rodgers for Robert Saleh’s firing
The offensive issues led to Robert Saleh demoting Nathaniel Hackett. But as soon as he did that, he was out of his job.
Fans of football have been watching everything happening in the Big Apple. They know that none of this could be pure coincidence and a lack of understanding from Woody Johnson. Rather, they feel it is Aaron Rodgers winning in the battle for power.
Social media has since been rife with talks about the quarterback forcing his head coach out. Below are examples of such reactions and others;

Woody just said on conference call he talked to Aaron yesterday you honestly think Woody didn’t inform the QB/OC about what he was going to do today? ??

With interim coach Jeff Ulbrich at the helm, it will be interesting to see how the rest of the New York Jets season unfolds.
It will ultimately show who won at the end. For Aaron Rodgers, it will either hurt or enhance his legacy.
