With less than a week remaining before Survivor Series, the November 24 episode of Raw delivered major developments on the women’s side, highlighted by intense promos and a massive brawl ahead of the PLE event. While the men opened and closed the show, the women’s division produced one of the night’s standout segments as AJ Lee, Becky Lynch, and their WarGames opponents clashed in dramatic fashion.
During the middle of the broadcast, Lynch made her entrance, joined by Lash Legend, Nia Jax, and The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane). The Irishwoman was greeted by boos, which she attributed to the injustice done to her the previous week as she lost her Intercontinental title to Maxxine Dupri.
She told the crowd she had lawyers working on overturning that result, emphasizing that, unlike Dupri and referee Jessika Carr, she follows the rules, and once the decision is corrected, she will reclaim her title and make the company better. Lynch then turned her attention to AJ Lee, declaring that she made a mistake by returning and an even bigger one by costing her the championship.
But Lee’s biggest error would be stepping into WarGames and locking herself inside a cage with Lynch. She proudly announced that she had assembled the greatest WarGames team in history, insisting they were united and battle-tested.
Lynch then claimed dominance over each teammate: she had beaten Asuka nine out of ten times, once saved Kairi Sane’s life, and acknowledged Nia Jax as the only woman ever to injure her face, though she noted she didn’t need a mask afterward like Rhea Ripley. Finally, she praised Lash Legend as a star in the making, promising to guide her to greatness.
At that point, the babyface team arrived with Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and Lee, triggering the confrontation. ‘The Black Widow’ took the microphone and said that in the past, she would have stormed the ring and started throwing punches, but therapy works.
She called Lynch’s bravado a shield for insecurity and said she didn’t need to bark loudly to prove her worth because, unlike a Chihuahua, she bites. Lee added that the Irishman had reignited the fire inside her, and with her allies pouring gasoline on it, WarGames would give her the chance to unleash the old AJ Lee inside the cage.
And she was not the only woman looking forward to knocking Lynch from her pedestal and laughing as she fell. Ripley then stepped forward, only to spike her microphone into Jax’s face, igniting an immediate brawl. Flair dropped Asuka with a brutal thrust kick, but Jax and Legend plowed through her moments later.
Bliss and Lee trapped their opponents with stereo bodyscissors sleeper holds, but the heels fought free just in time for Flair and Ripley to regroup and send them packing, punctuating the moment with mirrored crotch chops.
Then Iyo Sky took flight, wiping out everyone except Lynch with a stunning Orihara moonsault to the outside. The former champion stared down the opposition and shouted after them as Raw went to commercial, leaving the stage set for an explosive showdown at Survivor Series.
AJ Lee credits Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill for their ‘ideal’ muscular physiques
It is safe to say that AJ Lee was one of the true trailblazers of the women’s evolution in WWE during the mid-2010s. At a time when the company largely viewed its women’s division as eye candy, it was Lee who helped reshape the landscape through her athletic ability and exceptional promo work.

Her contributions laid the groundwork for the revolution later carried forward by stars such as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. Now, after a decade away, Lee is finally back in business, and the evolution she helped start remains stronger than ever.
Today, powerful talents like Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill are leading the charge as the division continues to raise the bar both athletically and creatively. During her appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast, Lee explained why she believes the muscular physiques seen in today’s top female stars are essential to professional wrestling.
To me, a strong female body is always the most attractive. I’ve always been interested in women with muscle. I find it interesting that there’s a subsection of men who don’t like that.

As she continued, Lee took a moment to credit Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill for standing out with their remarkable physiques.
I think it’s the most beautiful thing in the world. Like Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill — were you created in a lab? What? Actual action figures. That’s the dream. That’s the idea of beauty to me.

For the unversed, Lee made her long-awaited return to Monday Night Raw last week at Madison Square Garden, marking her first appearance since Wrestlepalooza in September, where she teamed up with CM Punk to slay Seth Rollins and Lynch in a mixed tag team bout.
Her involvement in the upcoming WarGames match was made official on SmackDown, as she joins Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss to take on Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Becky Lynch at Survivor Series on November 29. The bout will be only her second match in ten years, adding another historic chapter to her legacy.
