AJ Styles is a veteran of the wrestling industry. He has been wrestling for more than 25 years and has competed for nearly every wrestling promotion in the world, including TNA, NJPW, WCW, and, of course, WWE. Unfortunately, he is experiencing the effects of professional wrestling on his body and is unsure how much longer he can go on.

Speaking on WrestleManiacUK, the 47-year-old was asked how much longer he planned to wrestle. He revealed that he had no specific window in mind. However, his mind and body were constantly at war regarding the situation. Although his body said that it could keep going, his mind told him that he did not have a lot of time left in the squared circle.

In reality, he knew that he did not have much time left. Despite taking great care of his body through new remedies and practices, the SmackDown Superstar admitted that time was running out quickly for him. His high-flying and acrobatic style does not make it easy on his body. It takes a lot of effort to put on the quality of matches that he has had for over two decades.

It’s an argument between my body and my brain on how much longer we can go. I can tell you it won’t go much longer, time’s running out really quick.

WWE recently put on a wonderful ruse where the former WWE Champion faked his retirement. Given his veteran status in the industry and his age, many fans believed this was the end of the road for him. However, he brilliantly tricked his fans and Cody Rhodes for another shot at the WWE Undisputed Championship.

AJ Styles returns to Japan to battle Naomichi Marufuji for Pro Wrestling NOAH

AJ Styles made a huge name for himself in Japan during his time with NJPW. In fact, he credits that run for putting him on the map. The Phenomenal One will now be returning to the land of the rising sun after nearly a decade.

The two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion will go face-to-face with Naomichi Marufuji in Nippon Budokan, Tokyo. Despite both of them making their wrestling debuts in 1998, this will be the first time they face each other in a wrestling ring.

The new WWE regime has placed a huge focus on collaborating with other wrestling promotions. Their recent partnership with TNA immediately comes to mind. Other than that, Shayna Baszler was also given the opportunity to compete in GCW. Furthermore, Shinsuke Nakamura also returned to Japan after nearly a decade to face The Great Muta for Pro Wresting NOAH.
