Tottenham Hotspur, despite boasting some very good players, aren’t known for their ability to win trophies. The North London side have struggled time and again to lift silverware and the situation hasn’t changed a lot this season. Spurs are currently fifth in the League table with 60 points in 34 games.

As the club stare down failure yet again, boss Ange Postecoglou claims that he will be implementing certain changes. After his take-over sparked life into the team, a slump in form and a series of unfavorable results meant that Spurs fell back where they started at. In an earnest admission, Postecoglou admitted that certain changes were necessary in the squad.

We need change. I've got to change this squad, I have to. I've got to build a squad I think can play our football. For that, there have to be exits. We're going to train and play in a way that's not for everyone.

Despite recent failures and unimpressive results, fans are convinced that Postecoglou is indeed the man to lead the club next season.

You have to try and win something every year. That's part of the responsibility. I can't sit here and say we're going to finish fourth, fifth, sixth and then win something in the fourth year. I want to win things all the time.

The Tottenham boss also stated that his priority was to bring about growth within the squad. Despite not winning trophies, Postecoglou’s priority was to ensure that there was room for growth in the team.
