Ariel Helwani slams Jake Paul and KSI for failing influencer boxing’s motto

Influencer boxing came into being and was highly successful because of its massive appeal. During this period, the sport of boxing had become lackluster, and fans wished to see several fights that never happened. As such, amidst this, influencer boxing between several celebrities became very intriguing to watch. Furthermore, several YouTubers like Logan Paul, KSI, and their brothers Jake Paul and Deji became stars of this new sport. As such, Ariel Helwani has now commented on this and how they failed at influencer boxing.
The trend initially started when Logan and KSI decided to settle their YouTube beef inside the ring. In addition, Jake fought Deji and won the fight via technical knockout, while the Logan vs. KSI fight ended with a draw. Later, KSI defeated Paul in their rematch, and they decided to end their beef and start a fruitful partnership called Prime Hydration. Subsequently, Helwani recently reflected on how Jake vs. KSI never happened.

While Logan settled his beef, KSI and Jake have been at odds for several years. In addition, Logan transitioned to the WWE, while Jake and KSI continued to compete in boxing. Hence, they had several talks of fighting amidst their beef, but it never happened.
Helwani believes that both of them failed to live up to the motto of influencer boxing by not giving the fight that fans wanted. In addition, he remarked how mainstream boxing has become far more interesting than influencer boxing.
KSI reacts to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson getting postponed
KSI was taken aback by the turn of events following the news of the Paul vs. Mike Tyson match being postponed. Netflix made a formal declaration on their social media platform, revealing that ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson recently had a medical emergency.
This prevented him from training for the upcoming weeks. The situation has put him at a significant disadvantage against his considerably younger adversary, which is the reason for the delay in the fight. Jake Paul uploaded a video on X discussing his frustration with this recent turn of events. Yet, he also mentioned his patience in waiting for Tyson to heal and his desire to continue their fight.
Meanwhile, KSI couldn’t help but burst into laughter at the expense of ‘The Problem Child’. In addition, due to their rivalry, KSI has repeatedly trolled Paul for fighting a 58-year-old retired boxer. Hence, the recent medical emergency only proved his point about the fight being unfair.
