“I have not seen anyone try so hard to be brilliant at another sport”: Usain Bolt praised by Piers Morgan as he heads team for 2022 Soccer Aid
Usain Bolt
Soccer aid is making its return once again, and just like last year Usain Bolt is ready to lead the team. Last year the 8 time Olympic gold medallist took the team to victory, with Piers Morgan as manager. Bolt is still a skipper to Morgan, who will not be leading the team this year as well.
Asking about how he’s doing this year, Usain Bolt replied “I’ve been wanting to get on call and get some tips. I mean, I’ve been wanting to see what I can tell the guys. I just need that energy and I’m sure we’ll do well.” Morgan went on to praise Bolt, saying that he has not seen anyone else try so hard to be brilliant at another sport.

“We have similar work ethics”: Usain Bolt talks about Christiano Ronaldo
“Your dedication to football is extraordinary. I mean you do really love the game don’t you?” asked Morgan to which Bolt replied in quite the affirmative manner. He said that he really loved coming up as a youngster. “I watched Manchester United. So I definitely keep up with what’s going on when it comes to football.”
Morgans went on to compare Bolt to Ronaldo, saying that they had very similar characteristics, in that the core of their incredible success is an almost unbelievable mental strength and resilience that goes with their talent. “I definitely think you have to be resilient and never give up. You’ve to always want to do more. You’ve to never be satisfied, and I think I agree with you when you say Christian is like that,” concluded Bolt, talking about their similar work ethics.
