Following a string of functions and felicitation ceremonies, Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra has finally managed to get some time off the field and camera. Neeraj has headed to the Maldives to spend his vacation having scripted history at the Tokyo Olympics. The 23-year-old took to Twitter to share some moments from his vacation on the island nation.

Ever since his historic feat at the Tokyo Olympics, Neeraj has had a packed schedule of felicitations and functions. The latest addition to the list was the reality shows Kaun Banega Crorepati and Dance Plus 6. Having stolen the show with his interesting anecdotes, Neeraj is off to take some fresh air as he gears up for a jam-packed Olympic cycle.

Neeraj Chopra took to scuba diving as he enjoys his vacation in the Maldives. No matter where he is or what he does, his “crush” javein is always on his mind. As Neeraj enjoyed scuba diving, he decided to recreate his historic gold medal-winning throw at the Tokyo Olympics. The Olympic champion could be seen imitating his second throw which went 87.58m.

“Aasman par, zameen pe, ya underwater, I’m always thinking of the javelin! PS: Training shuru ho gayi hai,” Neeraj wrote as he shared the video.

Having conquered the Olympics, Chopra has no intention to slack off. The 23-year-old has set his eyes on the upcoming competitions. Neeraj shares that having celebrated his victory at the Tokyo Games, he is rearing to get back to his daily grind. And is looking to gain some momentum ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
