ATP Rankings 2021- Latest Men’s Tennis World Rankings post the Miami Open 2021

Hubert Hurkacz announced himself on the big stage after he defeated Jannik Sinner in the finals of the Miami Open 2021. With his victory on Sunday, Hurkacz became the first Polish male player to win a Masters title. There been a few changes in the ATP Rankings, after the conclusion of the year’s first ATP 1000 event. Roger Federer slipped further in the rankings, and is now the world number seven.
Alexander Zverev leapfrogged Roger Federer, and is now ranked sixth in the world. The top five rankings have remain unchanged, with most changes taking place outside the top ten. Despite an early exit from Miami Open 2021, Daniil Medvedev is ranked number two, whereas, Novak Djokovic continues to remain the world number one.

Hubert Hurkacz breaks into the top 20
Among the biggest movers in the latest ATP Rankings is Hubert Hurkacz. The Pole earned 1000 points after he won the title in Miami. As a result, he gained 21 spots in the rankings, and is now ranked as the world number 16. Jannik Sinner was another big mover, as he climbed up eight spots and is now ranked 23rd. The Italian gained 500 points after ending as the runner-up in Miami.
Roberto Bautista Agut gained one spot to move into the eleventh spot, with Denis Shapovalov dropping to the 12th spot. Outside the top30, John Isner took the biggest hit as he dropped ten spots and is now ranked on the 38th spot. Sebastian Korda reached the quarterfinals in Miami and as a result, gained 22 spots and moves up to the 65th spot.
