At WrestleMania XL, Becky Lynch met her waterloo against Rhea Ripley. She would’ve herself chuckled at the fact if someone had told her that she’d be the Women’s World Champion a couple of weeks later. But it’s not a daydream. The Man has, in fact, captured the women’s title for the seventh time in her career. Reacting to her coup on last night’s Raw, Lynch took to X and told everyone she’s back where she belongs.

As it happened, Becky counted on experience to outwit her foes in the high-stakes battle royal that closed the night in Ohio this week. It stemmed from Rhea Ripley‘s abdication of the Women’s World title last Monday. She was injured while brawling with Liv Morgan backstage on Raw after WrestleMania XL. That unprotected chair shot hurl at Ripley’s head by Morgan didn’t account for Rhea’s woes.

It was a freak accident where The Eradicator’s AC joint got damaged after she was driven into a wall by Liv, as per PWInsider. By virtue of Morgan’s revenge tour, the fans thought that she’d be crowned as the next Women’s World Champion. That would’ve eventually led to a grudge match between her and The Judgment Day member down the road.

But it wasn’t to be Liv’s night. A much-fancied veteran in Becky Lynch ousted the former Riott Squad member. Both were fighting for their lives on the ring apron. Despite a barrage of offenses against the Irishwoman, Morgan couldn’t subdue a resilient Lynch. The latter countered the former with a Manhandle Slam on the apron, and it was enough. The Irish Lass Kicker knew she had done it again.

After the show, Becky Lynch finally got the iconic Triple H finger-point. The WWE CCO took to X and posted a photo with the brand-new Women’s World Champion. It had been well over a couple of years since the 37-year-old last held the top prize.

However, despite WrestleMania 40 being a major setback for her, Becky is now at the top of the food chain once again. Now that the dust has settled, it doesn’t appear like the fans are as elated as Lynch is about her triumph.

A large portion of them on X have blasted Triple H for not considering an unheralded name for the cause. It would be interesting to see how those in attendance would react to Big Time Becks wearing that strap around her waist once again.
