The Man has around 20 days left on her current WWE deal.

In a staggering development, Becky Lynch has yet to re-sign with WWE. The Women’s World Champion is currently on track to defend her title against Liv Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE. Despite being such a high-priority talent, WWE’s concerned Talent Relations department hasn’t been able to lock Lynch down for another multi-year agreement just yet.
As per Fightful Select, the two sides are actively in talks over a potential renewal of Becky Lynch‘s WWE contract that’s set to expire in roughly three weeks. Although one would heavily expect The Man to put pen to paper sooner rather than later, who knows how the entire situation pans out? Quite recently, WWE axed former Head of Talent Relations Dan Ventrelle after a reported backstage notion that he wasn’t fit for the role.
As a result, Chris Legentil was promoted to fill that void, and it has paid off. Top names like Drew McIntyre and Finn Balor have re-signed with WWE ever since. The Stamford-based promotion would hope for Becky to follow suit as well. Her husband, Seth Rollins, also has had his deal renewed for multiple years. He’s currently out with a torn meniscus though. Lynch deferring to agree to terms with WWE seems a well-orchestrated negotiation gambit by the 7-time Women’s Champion.
Nonetheless, it’s expected that The Irish Lass Kicker will receive one of the biggest money-clad contracts if she were to re-sign. Mercedes Mone, fka Sasha Banks, was reported to have landed the highest payroll for any female wrestler in history when she signed with AEW. It would be interesting to see if her WWE counterpart, Lynch, can top that.
Fortune completely turned around for Becky Lynch even after forgettable WrestleMania XL outcome
After she lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania XL, it seemed as if Becky Lynch would go on an extended time-off from WWE. Debunking such reports in a way only she could, the Irish-American wrestler was back to the grind within a couple of weeks.
And despite that thumping blow in Philadelphia by the hands of Mami, the Big Time Becks is at the top of the food chain right now. A few weeks ago, she won a battle royal on Raw to capture the vacated Women’s World Championship. She last eliminated Liv Morgan to add another feather to her cap.
Even though there was some uproar from the fans over Becky sabotaging other deserving candidates, it was apparently more of a strategic move by WWE to potentially lure her into re-signing with the company. However, she’s yet to commit.
