Never in her wildest dreams would Becky Lynch have imagined losing her women’s Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri of all people. But it actually happened. A rivalry that began with Lynch toying with Dupri has ended up being a nightmare for the ‘Big Time Becks’. On this week’s Raw at MSG, the Irishwoman had her title reign halted at the 163-day mark.
Dupri matched the technical prowess of Lynch and even put the veteran wrestler in an ankle lock that she learned from her former Alpha Academy stablemate, Chad Gable. It took a lot out of ‘The Man’. During the closing moments, Lynch tried taking off the padding from the top turnbuckle but was stopped dead in her tracks when AJ Lee‘s music hit. It was the latter’s first WWE appearance since Wrestlepalooza.
Lee wanted to make sure the title match remained a level playing ground. Having not fully recovered from the shock that shook her to the core, Seth Rollins‘ wife turned back, and Dupri launched herself over the ‘Irish Lass Kicker’.
The former Maximum Male Models manager stunned the entire arena by pinning Lynch and thus becoming the brand-new WWE women’s IC Champion.

Dupri quickly ran over to Lee, and the two hugged it out. As the pyros were going off for the 28-year-old’s watershed moment, Lynch was losing it in the ring. The five-time women’s champion started freaking out and was completely baffled by what had happened.
But talking things into perspective, Lynch played her part to perfection by putting over Maxxine Dupri in a feud that underscored how drastically she has improved as an in-ring performer. The management’s decision to put the IC title on Dupri is a bold choice. The onus is now on her to prove them right.
Becky Lynch vows legal action over AJ Lee screw-up on Raw
It seems like Becky Lynch is willing to go to unprecedented levels to justify how she got robbed on this week’s Raw. ‘The Man’ went on a rant as shown in the following clip posted by Xavier Woods on X. The New Day member called her loss a travesty, with Kofi Kingston also sharing a similar sentiment. The ‘Big Time Becks’ claimed that AJ Lee didn’t have a manager’s license to walk through that curtain.

Since Raw was held in New York this week, Lynch brought up the state’s Athletic Commission. She argued that Lee wasn’t verified by the NYSAC to appear at ringside. Henceforth, as per Lynch, the match she lost to Maxxine Dupri should be revoked and declared rigged. ‘The Man’ refused to accept its outcome and urged the fans to follow suit.

The 38-year-old affirmed that she’s going to file a lawsuit to get the results overturned. Becky Lynch wasn’t done venting out her frustration, so she quoted a reply to Triple H‘s congratulatory post for Dupri. ‘The Game’ noted that it doesn’t get bigger than upstaging a multi-time women’s champion at the World’s Most Famous Arena.

In the state of New York that is governed by the state athletic commission, a managers license must be attained for interfering parties to be allowed at ringside.

In response, the acclaimed Horsewoman of WWE regurgitated the No Manager’s License. She emphasized how AJ Lee should’ve attained it from the New York State Athletic Commission to interfere in the match. But given that she didn’t, Lynch stated that the match result is under protest.
‘The Man’ warned about her lawyer’s intervention if the side plates of the Intercontinental Championship get changed in favor of Dupri. While the ‘Black Widow’ seems to be the long-term feud for Lynch, she could have a go at Dupri for the time being. The story is only expected to get interesting from here onwards.

As for Lynch and Lee, they are expected to end up in the women’s WarGames match. In a backstage segment, Rhea Ripley asked the former Divas Champion if they could talk. Lee agreed to it, and team Ripley might’ve just found their fifth member. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch is inevitably joining the likes of The Kabuki Warriors, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend.
