Becky Lynch, one of the biggest stars in WWE history, has been absent from WWE programming since May last year. Despite widespread speculation about her return on multiple occasions, there are currently no signs of a comeback. However, a recent report has shed light on the issue delaying The Man’s return.

Speaking on The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful revealed that WWE intends to keep Lynch’s return a surprise for the fans. With the company already selling out shows without heavy promotion, officials are holding off on The Man’s comeback for a more significant occasion. As a result, WWE has yet to finalize a creative direction for the former Women’s Champion’s return.

Additionally, the 38-year-old signed a new contract with WWE long ago and is in perfect health, with no injuries preventing her return. While the exact timing of Big Time Becks’ comeback remains uncertain, WWE initially planned for her to be part of the WrestleMania 41 buildup. However, WWE now seems unlikely to include her in the Mania card.

However, WWE ultimately replaced her with The Undertaker at the last minute due to her absence. Only time will tell when the 38-year-old finally returns to WWE.
